 Story/PlotRumors have run through your middle school, they always do and always have, today you hear a very familiar rumor.
"Hey you know about that building?
"Yeah, the one that suposed to be in the sky? What about it?
"Well I heard....." The same rumor, a rumor about a building in a sky, its been going through your school for about a week now and now its not something to really gossip over. After all, Damete wasn't really known for its exciting attractions or monuments or labs, it was just some town plotted on a map trying to make its way through the tough economy. So who or why created this rumor didn't seem very realistic, in the town of Damete, but this sort of thinking changes as you go home where you find your parents waiting for you outside holding a navy blue letter with golden rims. Your parents faces are brimming with excitement as they hand you the letter, ripping the contents and your eyes reading over the content.
'Welcome ___________ you have been accepted to Sky High, here you may progress the cabablities or extent of your power whether they may be grand, powerful, unique, unusual or extrodinary. The blood of a supernatural runs through your blood, this has been tested and proven accurate. Transportation will be provided in the upcoming morning the moment this evelope is opened. Welcome to Sky High and we hope that you may have a grand experience.'
After that day, your life hasn't been the same and the next morning, as the letter promised a bus with the name 'Sky High' appeared in front of your house and the moment you entered and the doors to it closed shut, the bus flew off the ground and went up into the sky. Who would of ever expected that? Certainly not you but don't worry it only gets stranger as it takes you to an actual high school even though your technically in the 8th grade and your year was coming to a close. But on the way to school, a boy, who looked to be your everyday average looking boy, stared at you with a great intensity. Whats with this guy? Weirdo? Or is he a student at this school? But most importantly, what is this school? Come on in my friend and see for yourself.

Age: Fifteen

Race: Half Human, Half Environmental Controller
Ability: He's able to control the environment around him. If he needs to protect himself, he'll create a circle of fire around himself. If he would like to get out of class, he'll create change the weather outside such as a tornado. It's more defensive than it is offensive; he uses it to protect himself. His powers are hugely trigged by his emotions. If he's upset or mad, then his powers can sometimes get out of control and do their own thing.
Personality: Naive, Caring, Short-tempered, Sweet if you deserve it, Talkative, Can surprise you quite a bit, Tries to keep his feelings to himself as much as possible, Easily upset, basically he looks like a sweet, innocent boy but if he needs to he can be sharped-tongue.
Bio: Kaiden lived a reality normal childhood. He tried to always keep an upbeat attitude, using his 'mask of emotions' if neccessary. He tends to hide whatever he's truly feeling quite a bit as he's too afraid of upsetting others or of looking abnormal. Kids would say that his mother was a freak and that weird things happened all the time. Kids would pick on him for his slender frame and slightly girlish looks. One time, a boy even tried to come onto him which freaked him out quite a bit. He closed his eyes, heard a yell, and when he opened his eyes the boy was gone and he was never bothered by him again. More than anything, he just wants someone to protect him. Now, he's shock to hear about his mother having powers and how their passed on down to him. And now he has to go to a different school? He just hopes this one is better and he's not picked on quite so much.

Race: Mixed, A shapeshifter-psych
Ability: Transforming his entire or partially his body into any being he can think of, he cannot transform into plants, water, air etc. any of the basic elements. He's able to use psychic powers varying from reading minds to lifting objects
Personality: Keeps to himself, Observant, Not Talkative, Keen, Blunt, Secrative, other than these known facts the rest of him is a mystery
Bio: Erick grew up in a very strange environment, at least, that is what normal people would say. He didn't hang around home a lot as he spent almost waking second outside, he never stated his reasons because he simply didn't talk with people he called 'a waste of air'. Most of the time, before he went to Sky High, he didn't make any friends and thats how he kept it. Erick didn't want someone to know his secret and constantly ask for favors, he thought this was the same for all nonsupernatural humans. He was accepted to Sky High when he was about 12 years old, the youngest the school could accept kids. It was well known to his family and the school that his supernatural powers were quite unique for in some kids they would only get one power of one parent or sometimes they only had one supernatural parent while the other was normal. But his father, a shapeshifter and his mother, a psychic, were very happy to see thier son be accepted to Sky High.

Shapeshifter-Pshyc Erick recieved the letter his parents had been anxiously awaiting, well also a bit worried at last years stunt but that was soon forgotten as he was accepted into Sky High. Erick really found this school somewhat annoying but so much better than that of his old schools, somehow, it was fun to mess with people without supernatural powers but he would simply call them humans since nothing special really came out of them besides the advancement of technology but that was thanks to the supernaturals at Sky High and those that graduated. Erick would find it amusing to speak people's thoughts for them even though they were trying to keep it hidden, it was fun to experiment with opposite and same genders, different preferences in type and nationality. Of course, he had a couple of experiments with his own body as he transformed from male to female. Though its strange a shock so many people found out he hadn't had his cherry taken away but Erick wasn't going down with anyone who couldn't even interest him.
The next morning he woke-up to a most annoying horn as it echoed throughout his entire house. If he could, he would sleep in but it was almost impossible as the clock readed 7:30 am and school always started at about 9 but he was given a job to give a new kid a tour of the school. The principal saw it as a 'fit' punishment from last year, Erick changed and grabbed his backpack. School materials weren't a big thing where he was going, he barely had to do any school work besides knowing power, conroling power, using his power and knowing its weak spots. That was the sort of routine that this school had, but it was a lot more advanced that that of your average day high school.
Erick climbed into the bus, the bus driver simply rushed him in and didn't bother to see if he was sitting down before flouring his gas pedal to his next destination.

Kaiden played with his fingers nervously as he peeked outside his bedroom window to see if the Sky High bus was here yet. Yesterday, he had gotten the letter and was still in shock about the news. He had heard so many rumors about this school in the sky and now he was supposedly going to be attending it? He still didn't find that possible. Maybe there actually was a Sky High, but maybe it was on land...yeah, that would make more sense. Plus add onto all this that he has powers?! He had started to laugh and look at his parents like there were crazy when they explained that part to him. But his mother had proven it to him; she's an environmental controller like him and when those flames came up, he couldn't deny that it was real as he felt the warmth coming from them. In the back of his mind, he knew it made sense. He was always a bit different and he still remembered that one incident with the boy. He figured now that he must've used his powers then and that was why the boy had yelled and ran away. But he had never actually seen his powers at worked since he had closed his eyes then, so he still had a bit of doubt. Oh well, now was the day that he would find out the truth. If the bus would just even get there! He supposed he was up and ready pretty earlier since he was too nervous and slightly excited to keep sleeping. He really hoped that this should would be better: no more getting picked on, no more weird names, and no more getting hit on by creeps. He shuddered his slender shoulders at the thought, but then a smile came onto his face when he saw that the bus was finally here. He picked up his bag and pulled it over his shoulder. Right now, he had on a v-neck white t-shirt, black skinny jeans, black sneakers, and a grey cardigan that hung loosely on him and covered his hands slightly. He made sure that his brown, magenta-tinted hair was in place before heading down the stairs, outside, and to the bus. Once he was inside, he was slightly surprised that everyone looked fairly normal. I mean they still looked a group of misfits, populars, and nerds but it seemed like no one was using their powers at least right now. He quickly slid into an empty seat as the bus lurched foward to take off to some other place. Crazy driver... he couldn't help but think. His magenta eyes scanned the bus and landed on a boy seating in a seat diagonally to him. He had blonde hair and golden eyes.

Shapeshifter-Pshyc Erick looked at the piece of paper he was issued when he recieved the letter. It provided a description and the address of the guy's house he was to give a tour to. Though he was surprised to find such a interesting guy to hop on board the bus, this guy almost screamed unusual, with the color of his hair and his eyes. Not too many humans did Erick ever meet that had such characteristicds unless they dyed thier hair or placed colored contacts in but nothing about seemed colored, it was just natural. 'Interesting guy, I wonder what sort of secrets this guy has.' but as Erick opened his mind he picked up a juicky conversation from some girl on the bus but his attention was fully focused on Kaiden.
Later did he only realize that it wasn't really an interesting topic the girls in the bus were discussing. They were talking about the top 5 guys they would date, soemething he didn't want to hear since he wasn't really interested in such things. The bus was was full and only when the street was deserted did the bus driver initiciate a cloaking device on the bus and then initiated the rockets on the back and sides of the bus. The movement started off nicely as the bus was moving down the street going at about a speed of 45 and thats when the rockets began showing thier power, though the rockets were meerly to get the bus in the air, it had an improved technology for it to hover in the air without the assistance of rockets. The bus was immplanted with a sort of hover device but it wasn't powerful to get it off the ground high enough so rockets were used.
After only about 2 minutes of flying did Erick start working, he manuvered his way over to the seat behind Kaiden and spoke softly as to where he was the only one to hear him,
"Kaiden Doyle presume, welcome to your first fligh on the Sky High bus quite an interesting vehicle don't you think? I can saftely bet that you haven't rode in one before, your face says it all so theres no need to hide it. I'm your appointed tour guide for today, so if you have questions or concerns your suppose to contact me."

Kaiden DoyleHalf Human/Half Environmental ControllerKaiden had caught quite a few looks from the students as he had entered the bus. Whether it was due to his unique looks or to the fact he was a new kid, who knew. As unusual as his looks were, they were 100% natural. He was simply born with such characteristics. As he had looked at the other male though, that look was different from the others he was getting. It was...intense and made Kaiden quickly turn his gaze away. He couldn't deny that the other was attrative but he knew he didn't get this feeling to look away just simply because he was embarrassed or flustered. No, it was more than that. It was if when looking at that male, that the other could read every little thing about him...and that frightened Kaiden. He was always so protective over things and was use to people judging him on first appearances, not actually taking a deeper look. He kept his magenta gaze outside the window and tried as hard as he could to keep it away from the other male. He pushed the headphones that were around his neck up ot his ears and turned on the music to try to distract himself. The white and pink headphones were a present from his parents and little did he know that they were also another form of protection. While wearing the headphones on his ears or around his neck, people couldn't get into his mind and dig around. He had no idea about that though; he just knew that the music that came from them calmed him and he felt...safe. Kaiden's eyes widen slightly as his attention was caught by the rockets now coming out of the bus. You can't be serious...they were telling the truth?! he thought in shock of those rumors of the flying school. But it had to be true as soon enough the bus was taking off and flying into the air. He closed his soft pink lips once he realized his jaw was hanging down a bit from shock that that had acutally happened. His attention was taken away again though as suddenly he heard a voice behind him and very near to him. He turned to see golden orbs looking right back at him and took off his headphones to catch what the other was saying to him. He was slightly nervous as to what the other would say, but let out a soft sigh of relief as Erick explained that he was his tour guid for the day. He nodded his head and said, "Yeah. Um it's a little more than interesting." he said and laughed softly, "I can't believe the rumors were true." He smiled softly as he thought of something and said, "How am I suppose to contact you if I need help if I don't even know your name though?"

Shapeshifter-Pshyc Erick could only distract so much information out of Kaiden before he was blocked out, this wasn't some sort of ability you could learn in a snap, it took years for the development of mind blocking to be perfected but there was a possibility that the headphones had something to do with this. For the moment he had put them on, it was like his mind was shut off and Erick was thrown back into reality. Mind surfing was an interesting ablity, even though you could go into people's memories, dreams, and thoughts you had to make sure that the host wasn't exposed to some traumatic memories. There was nothing worse than having a guy spaz in his seat and slowly die away because someone had to be a little reckless. But yet, one could extract some uselful information so there were the pro's and cons to weigh. Of course, a human life was much more valuable than memories or such because everyday they are created, a new idea can pop up in their mind and you can expect a mindreader or Psych to steal it unless you have a guard around your mind.
Erick layed his arms on the seat in front of him as he brought his face closer to Kaiden, the boy was an interesting peice of work. Even though he could only get fragments from his memories they were good enough to know how to manuever his way through this mine field. Though, the moment those headphones came off, Kaiden's mind was an open book again but Erick would have to concentrate on two things on once which was a challenging task unless you gave up one or the other.
"Rumors?" Erick looked into Kaiden's mind before understanding what he was actually saying,
"Oh, you mean the rumors from your school, I'm sure they were started from a student from Sky High. The policy here at this school is to not give the new kids much of a shock, we don't want you to loose control or become overexcited. We don't need Sky High to come crashing down on this small town, but your right, the name is Erick Suir, and its not Sewer I know some people get confused but its -uir not -ewer, and your Kaiden Doyle. Till now, you haven't really known about your powers till recently, at least as recent as you got the letter. Don't worry if your concerned about keeping it under the radar or the wraps. Your free to use your abliities in the school, just don't destroy anything unless the teacher specified to do so. But sometimes newbie's, like yourself, get a freebit but I would watch it with some of the students in this school. People aren't afraid of roughousing around here, its constantly a battlefield especially if someone challenges you then you need to watch out my dear friend because right now, your seen as fresh meat. This may not be part of touring the school but I'd feel guilty if I didn't say anything." Erick felt as if he had forgotten something important to say, he struggled at what this way till he snapped his fingers and leaned back into his chair,
"Plus if you need my help and I'm nowhere in sight, just call my name 3 times in your head and I'll be sure to come to your side." Erick wasn't much of a talker but if he didn't do his assignment he would of surely get detention plus the Principal even sent some spy's of him to go babysitting him, he could feel thier stares and read thier minds. If he harmed any of them, it wasn't going to go well for Erick plus this was a new kid and he had to watch out for the number one bully in these parts. If there was something Erick couldn't stand, it was bullying. He could tell you stories of the times he was beaten the crap out of, just to take some hits for a kid in his class but in the end the kid got beat up as well. Those bullies shouldn't of been surprised when they got thier butt handed to them and the boy he was trying to save.....feared him and transferred schools. Don't get Erick wrong, he isn't a violent person, far from it, yet theres just something that just snapps inside him and he can't help himself. This coud of been one of the many reasons he was a lone wolf in this school and throughout life.
Erick could feel the bus descending and Sky High School was now visible, clearly visible. He could see the American flag and the many buildings surrounding it, it looked like a real high school except for the fact that it harbored teens with abilities that were sometimes unstabled or deadly for other humans to be around. The bus door slowly opened and the cold air swooshed in as if they had just gone to the beach.
"Welcome to Sky High Kaiden."
