Seems to me that someone in this guild (was it you, Pirhan?) wanted one of these a long time ago. There are some posted on the Wichita Craigslist, under Pets. $2 each. Don't know if they would ship, but there you go----what could you do to a cockroach in transit, anyway, except smash the box?

I had a friend who had a pair of those as pets.
They ended up mating and overran their tank. She ended-up having to kill them all and gas her apartment to stop the whole complex from getting infested.

Yes! It was me. gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk
I'd LOVE to have some, but my tank is in storage in Ontario (across the country) and the small, tiny, itsy bitsy wee little apartment that I'm currently in is already jam packed. crying

I want a roach colony someday to feed my chickens >.> Right now they're fine with the ones I find though. They LOVE roaches, the bigger and squishier the better.

When we moved some bales in the barn and found the wall teeming with mice, the chickens and ducks with nutso for them. Who knew?!

I hate roaches, chickens love roaches. Easy solution, lol.

That's too bad that she lives in ontario, I have a ton of them and need to get rid of some. They breed really fast.
I have 4 different species of cockroaches I have raised, mostly as a more cost efficient way of feeding my reptiles, but the hissing roaches were just for fun.
