Kazuma, being a member of the Hatake Clan, has always felt a form of self-imposed pressure on himself to excel. The Hatake's have always been regarded as geniuses, in their own respects, much like the Uchiha and the Hyuga. Also, given the history of excellent ninja that have come from their clan in the past, the term 'genius' would not often be regarded as misplaced. However, Kazuma never felt special as a child, and trained strenuously to master the techniques passed down by his clan.
