Rang out the brazen trump! Away they bound, Cheer the hot steeds and shake the slackened reins; As with a body the large space is filled With the huge clangor of the rattling cars. High whirl aloft the dust-clouds; blent together, Each presses each and the lash rings; and loud Snort the wild steeds, and from their fiery breath, Along their manes and down the circling wheels Scatter the flaking foam.

The Stables of TroyIt is said that the once-great Stables of Troy was the home of the fastest horses on Earth. Legend has it that Troy Knight roamed the lively planet for the best of the best equines and brought them to their new home in the Surrounding. There, Troy Knight had tamed them, raised them, and trained them to be the fastest horses man could find. He trained them to along the path of the Surrounding, providing a faster means of travel than by foot. Furthermore, the horses of the Stables of Troy were used in large-scale chariot races around the Surrounding. While this was largely a festivity for the Outpost on which Troy is located, all other Outposts were invited to watch the dangerous race. These races were held several times a year - for celebrations of holidays, and on occasion even were held to settle an impasse dispute between two parties. The two quadriga chariots - the Red Quadriga and the Black Quadriga - were built and designed in the studio of Celsus. Due to their their beautiful details and fine craftwork, the two chariots are said to be wonders in and of themselves. Each quadriga pulled four horses, braced together, and working in unison.
