The man smiled when he was addressed, "Yep." Ahhhhh, thank goddess she was his date and this wasn't one of those painfully awkward scenes. He held his hand out and shook hers. Then, he promptly took the seat across from her. "I'm glad my date is such a lovely lady," Really this was a pretty nice happening. He would never complain about someones looks, everyone had charm, as cliche a saying that was. But, an appealing woman for him, well its the farthest from the worst this situation could have offered. Levi stayed quiet for a bit, a little nervous still. Although, he made sure to at least keep proper eye contact... And not keeping the silence lasting to long. He had been mulling over the right way to start the conversation, and the only answer he could come up with was to make a joke. "I must be quite the fisherman," He spoke, keeping a bright smile on his face, "Cause I seemed to have caught quite the catch." It was a cheesy pick-up line kind of joke. But, it's all he could come up with. He laughed nervously afterwards, feeling embarrassed that that was all he could come up with. Hopefully she would let it slide.

Zelynity was all smiles when his identity was confirmed, and then he was being all flattery! She felt so lucky as her cheeks turned an embarrassing shade of pink. She was too busy trying to make her blush go away that she barely noticed the silence that had begun between them. She began to laugh, maybe a little too much, at his little joke. It was just adorable! "Ohhoho, that's so freaking sweet of you to say. You're not a bad catch yourself." She smiled, repositioning her hand under her chin. Well, that was a bit bold of her. She was just pulling out all stops for this date. "So, would you like me to go get you a coffee? You can think of everything you want to tell me about yourself and ask me about me while I'm gone!" She hopped up and stood next to the table, a little too eager. But, she didn't care. If he didn't like her energy, this would never work out anyway.

Levi smiled as he noticed his date took his joke rather well. He chuckled along with her laugh. He was always delighted to know someone appreciated his humor. "Thank you very much" He grinned gratefully as she returned the compliment unexpectedly. He completely ignored any forward signs from the woman. It was mostly because he wasn't very good at reading women. Which is why he was surprised as she stood up to get him coffee. "Ah!" He voiced grabbing her wrist and raising from the table himself. "I'll get it," He spoke rather forwardly. He didn't really like being forceful, which is why he let go of Zelynity quickly after grabbing her. "I'm yours for the night, so you should just sit and relax," He spoke as he turned to get the drinks. Was what he said weird? He didn't want to come off as forceful. He approached the counter nervously as his mind raced through the worst possible outcomes for when he returned. He never was good with these kind of things... But! This wasn't about him! Levi had to be a good date. She had paid for him and he had to be at his best. He took in a deep breath and grabbed the drinks and returned to the table. He placed one in front of her and the other in front of him as he sit down. The man of course kept a smile as he sat back down. "Well, I don't want to hog the conversation," He said referring to what she had said earlier, "So let's talk about ourselves together." Though where would he start... He guessed when it came to adults, "Where do you work?"

Zelynity embarrassingly let out a little yelp when he grabbed her wrist. She even more embarrassingly went to grab the gun she normally carried. This all was not looking very well for her. Luckily, she didn't have it on her that would have only made this all that much more awkward. She could just hear the laughter that would come when she told her brother her date was awful because she pulled her gun on him in the first few minutes. She turned, red faced and tried to smile. She sat down and nodded, not sure what to say. It was quite comforting for her to take a few deep breaths while he was up at the counter. Her face had returned to its natural color by the time he came back. "Thank you." She smiled and was glad that he was urging on the conversation. His idea to talk about both of them wasn't exactly what she wanted, but it would have to do. Thinking of what to say, caused her to feel nervous all over again. She had been so cool and collected before her little stunt, maybe he didn't notice. "I work at M&Ms Investigation as a Junior Detective. What about yourself?" She hoped he wouldn't ask too many questions, what they did was pretty confidential. She didn't want to seem like she was blowing him off.

Any odd behavior his date showed was ignored by Levi entirely. Not that he was paying attention or deliberately ignoring her, he was just to focused on what to say next that he didn't notice anything else. Sure, the man was quite confident in the ability to crack a joke, but small talk was something else. Though talking about one's life is not really small talk... It was definitely more grand, more like big talk. He snickered a bit at the thought. 'Big Talk'. However, he snapped himself back into the conversation, hoping Zel had not noticed. "A P.I. huh?" That sure is something... "I'm just a fishermen myself," Levi spoke with a nervous chuckle, "Your career certainly seems to blow mine out of the water." Yes, another lame joke from the man as he began to chuckle at it himself. Of course, he immediately cleared his throat to cover his laugh, he didn't want to seem like one of those people who thought they were the funniest guy in the world. Though, he was quite proud of the little joke himself. Although, he was sure his date wouldn't think the same way. He just sat and hoped for the best.

Levi and Zel finished the night after some more chatting. Nothing cataclysmic happened.
