First off... Shadyn! Name: Shadyn Moonglow Height: 5'4 Race: Draqhyraqen Hair colour: Silver Eye Colour: Very dark blue Personality: Shadyn is a woman who is a bit too comfortable living in a rich family. She comes accross as quite spoiled, and sometimes insolent, when taken out of her own environment. She is extremely ambitious and tends to get a bit competitive at times. She has her own opinion about things, and most of the time will voice them one way or another. However, she was brought up to be refined, so even Shadyn knows when to hold her tongue, and to instead nod gracefully and smile. Politics, power, and wealth are more important to her than romance, but not above taking care of the select few she loves and trusts. Shadyn is a no nonesense sort of person. Relations: Jyraq Moonglow(Father), Reba Moonglow(Mother, deceased), Vaqs Moonglow (Oldest half brother, married), Qyrastus Moonglow (2nd Oldest half brother) Jarr Moonglow (3rd Oldest Half brother) Myuna (Moonglow) Weylore (Older half sister, married), Aysyss Moonglow (Older half brother) Brief History: Shadyn was born to a working class woman, Reba, who was married into a rich and powerful family after serving as a wet nurse for Shadyn's older half brother, Aysyss. Shadyn had rare black wings, and highly uncommon silver hair, which caused instant jealousy from most of her older half siblings. Shadyn was brought up and raised as the rest of the children were, although she felt her father was more hard on her than anyone because her mother used to be in the labour class. Shadyn was trained extensively in several fields of magic, having been discovered to also be a sorceress with a high magic capacity. She also received training in etiquette, diplomacy, literature, arithmatics, fencing, and business, for her family ran a large enterprise of businesses, having the monopoly of wealth in her very capitalist society. Shadyn's mother also taught her to be a hard worker, and tried to teach Shadyn that it was alright to get her hands dirty. She tried to keep Shadyn from ending up spoiled, by being harsh with her and tring to teach her that all people are equal. Despite being hard on her, her mother was very compassionate and often soothed Shadyn when she felt life was too hard. Another source of compassion came from her older, sickly half brother Aysyss. The two of them often played together, and often Aysyss would defend Shadyn from her older half brothers, particularily Jarr and Qyrastus. When Shadyn was thirteen she was sent to a monastery, or convent, for the Goddess Runeshya. This was shortly after rumours of war had broken out, and she was sent away for her protection. Events in the story thus far: (TO avoid SPOILERS, the entries here will be in WHITE so you must HIGHLIGHT them!!!!) After five years she expressed a very strong desire to go home, and was finally granted her wish. On her way home she learned from Aysyss that her mother had died.
Shadyn accompanied Aysyss to negotiate with the King of Gerathad regarding the war. She met the King and his two sons, Geft and Galfen. The King both admired and disapproved of her, whereas both Princes have a poor opinion of her.

Name: Aysyss Moonglow Height: 6'1 Race: Draqhyraqen Hair colour: Pale blue Eye Colour: Pale blue Personality: Aysyss is a very calm and compassionate man. Due to being born with heart problems, he has lived a very inactive life. He's sharpened his mind with books, and has began to understand the world from an outisde perspective. Although he is as susceptable to fault as the next man, he seems to overpower his character weaknesses with his strengths: calm, patient, thoughtful, polite, refined, intelligent, tolerant, and a good listener. Unfortunately, he can also be too analytical and sees dilemmas where the average person does not, which causes him to be highly stressed at times. He also lacks the ability to be straightforward most of the time, and has a difficult time being strict - even when it is appropriate. Relations: Jyraq Moonglow(Father), Qasura Moonglow(mother, deceased)Reba Moonglow(Step-mother, deceased), Vaqs Moonglow (Oldest brother, married), Qyrastus Moonglow (2nd Oldest brother) Jarr Moonglow (Oldest brother) Myuna (Moonglow) Weylore (Older sister, married), Shadyn Moonglow (Younger half-sister) Brief History: Aysyss Moonglow was born with heart difficulties, and his mother did not survive child labour. His health was poor, but luckily, he was instantly assigned a wet nurse, who nurtured him through his most trying infanthood. Reba, the woman who he believed his mother, was a working class woman and was not initially given much respect, but treated with appropriate kindness for taking care of him. However, his father slowly began to appreciate the strong, persistent woman and eventually took her as a second wife. Although this news harmed his father's reputation, it did not take long before her earned it back. Aysyss was given just about everything he could want or need from his father so not to strain him too much, lest he become very sick. Reba, on the other hand, was determined to not let him grow up to be too spoiled. However, she interferred with caution, for as much as she wished it were, he was not her child. Two years after he was born, Reba had a girl. Reba had more control over her, and Aysyss, who was her playmate, watched what things Reba taught her and learned from his younger, half sister. When Aysyss was five, he was informed that Reba was not his mother. This was shattering to him, but as he got older, they told him more as it became appropriate. He began to slowly understand. However, he still considered Reba as his true mother, and to show his love for her, he took it upon himself to help take care of his younger half sister, Shadyn. They grew up to be very fond of each other, although Shadyn often refused to show too much kindness or affection. Throughout his very early teen years, he had courted several girls. However, as kind as he was, he often grew tired of them quickly and let them drift apart, waiting for the boredom to become mutual and giving his various girlfriends the opportunity to break it off with him - as he understood how important it was to NOT be the one being broken up with. Sadly, his record of being 'dumped' had managed to mingl eamong rumours, and nearly no woman would show interest in him when he was older and more serious. To rub the salt in, his oldest brother, Vaqs, got married to one of previous girlfriends. Aysyss was defeated by his own kindness and desire for something more than the average ambitious Draqhyraqen girl for his companion. When he was 15, rumours of war started, and Shadyn was sent to a monastery. His other brothers were eventually called off to go fight or plan, and his only full sister eloped against their father's wishes. Although he had his books, the next five years were lonely and difficult for him. Events in the story thus far: (TO avoid SPOILERS, the entries here will be in WHITE so you must HIGHLIGHT them!!!!) Aysyss went as a representative of his father to enlist aid from the Goladtin Kingdom, Gerathad, and took Shadyn. He managed to work out an agreement with the King.

Name: Galfen Goltin Height: 5'6 Race: Goaldtin Hair colour: Black Eye Colour: Brown Personality: Galfen, as a prince, has a strong sense of duty and order. He sets himself fourth to be an example by upholding the law and filling out his many obligations. It does not mean, however, that he enjoys it. However, he does not detest it either. Despite being firmly obedient, he is a bit of a dreamer and values the interests and safety of other people above his own in most cases. He is a strong believer in the strength of love and dedication in a relationship - but yet can be very distrusting and nervous around women. Relations: Graff Goltin(father), Shifelle Goltin(mother), Geft Goltinbrother), Agraif Silferth(niece). Brief History: Galfen was born the second son of the King of Gerathad. Galfen was not brought up much different than his brother, although his brother often took priority as the heir to the throne. Galfen grew to be very protective of his older brother for this reason, as even earlier on he could see that his brother was under a lot of pressure. Galfen was determined to do his best to support his brother, and to seek the approval of his parents. His mother was very distant and often sick, and his father was a bit difficult to follow, although his father was quick to give out praise, he was twice as quick to disapprove. For a lot of Galfen's younger years, his father was gone often, and his mother was terribly sick, so a young woman named Shalgif Silferth was hired to take care of them and meet their needs where their mother and father could not. Shalgif had a great attention to detail and little slipped by her. Shalgif had her eye on power. Once getting the trust of Geft, she began to manipulate him. Galfen noticed a change in Geft, but Geft closed him off. When Galfen was fifteen Shalgif had gone missing. Without his father around, and his mother still very ill, Galfen had not choice but to investigate on his own. However, Geft forbid him. A few years later Shalgif returned, planning on black mailing Geft, for she had with her his child. However, Galfen instantly came to his brother's defense and arrested Shalgif. She put up a fierce fight and managed to hide the child. Shalgif was taken in and Galfen instantly ordered her to be privately executed. Galfen lead a search for the missing child, with every intent of removing all possible means of black mailing his brother. However, when Galfen found her, she managed to escape and was never seen again. The people who were hiding her were released. Geft continued to be silent on the matter. Galfen accepted that he'd never know the entire truth and believe that he was just in executing Shalgif.
