Name Meaning: Perlita means Pearl in Latin. Alexandra is of Greek orgin, meaning “man’s defender”. Ceinwen, Welsh orgin, has a few meanings; fair, lovely, white, and blessed.

Perlita can come off as quite cold and harsh. This may be due to the fact that it takes quite a bit to gain her trust. After her time in the mental asylum, she has lost trust in many people. It had all started with Amanda. She had truly thought that Amanda would understand her, perhaps even be excited about what Perlita had just told her. Instead, Amanda had been the first person to label Perlita as “crazy”, the first person to tell her she wasn’t sane. Then came the loss of trust from her teacher Mrs. Palmer. Yes, she still remembered her name. Why? Because she had been Perlita’s most favourite teacher, and she had turned her back on her, had even been afraid of her when all she needed was a trusting hand. Perlita had been quite scared of her therapist at first, but slowly she had warmed up to him. She had told him everything. Everything about her magic powers, how well she was doing with them, and even about the lands away from Earth in other dimensions. She had also mentioned her magical training with Vincent. When the therapist had decided to ask Vincent about the matter, he had done what he always did if anyone questioned him about magic; lied. He told the therapist that she was probably just using her imagination. Unfortunately, the therapist had taken this the wrong way and had assumed that she was mentally unstable. This caused him to send her over to the doctor. Perlita had learned by now not to trust everyone, and that’s where her untrusting personality had come from. She refused to trust anyone after that therapist and that personality stuck even after being let out of the mental asylum. The only person she really trusted was her brother Vincent, because he had been the one who had stuck with her all this time. He had been the only one who had believed her.
She is also very defensive, and this comes from her untrusting personality. She's defensive when someone suggests that she's lying, because she rarely does. Even though she is untrusting, she doesn't lie to anyone. That doesn't mean she doesn't avoid the truth. If a question is asked that she feels too personal, she'll tell the person that she doesn't answer questions that are that personal, or she'll simply avoid the question. She also gets very protective of her brother. He is the only other family member she knows of so far, and she doesn't want to lose him.
Personal History:
Perlita had been born on the planet Kutarmak with her older brother. Her mother's ancestors were sorcerors. Though, it had skipped her mother's generation and had gone on to her brother and hers. Her father was a Knight for the royal family of Kutarmak. Due to this, Perlita's best friend had become the prince of Kutarmak.
When Perlita had turned 5, the planet of Kutarmak was engaged in a war with a nearby planet. In fear of Perlita or her brother getting hurt, their parents had sent them to Earth. Perlita's mother had informed her sister that resided on Earth about sending her children there. Perlita's aunt reluctantly agreed to keep them. She had never been a person who liked children, so she mostly scolded Perlita and her brother. At times she even hit Perlita's brother when he tried to defend Perlita. Perlita's brother was only 8 at the time they had come to Earth, but he matured quickly and was able to take care of Perlita without their aunts help.
Perlita entered grade school a year after she had come to Earth. Her aunt had somehow managed to prove to the school board that she had passed kindergarten and there was no need to enroll her then. Perlita suspected that her aunt had used a potion that confused anyone who drank it, and the drinker believed whatever they were told. How she had managed to get the secretary to drink it was something Perlita couldn't imagine at all. So that year, Perlita and her brother had been enrolled into school, Perlita just starting grade 1 and her brother starting grade 4 seeing as how Vincent was 3 years older than her. A week of school went by and Perlita loved it. She made a ton of friends, and loved all her teachers, until that one day. 4 years later. Grade 5. When she was only 10 years old.
Perlita had made quite a good friend with a girl named Amanda. They had been together every since Perlita's first year at the school. Perlita trusted the girl a lot and deemed her worthy of knowing Perlita's "secret." While they were drawing one day, Perlita caused a crayon to lift up into the air, seeing as how that was one of the most simplest things she could do, without getting caught by a teacher. Amanda decided to ignore it at first, but Perlita merely caused the crayon to float even closer to Amanda's nose. Amanda's eyes widened and Perlita leaned across the table and whispered, "Don't let anyone know of my secret Mandy, I'm a witch." A big grin split across her face, but Amanda's reaction caused her grin to fall. Amanda screamed. Not what she had expected. Perlita's friend ran over to the teacher screaming, "She's crazy! She's telling me crazy things!" Perlita tried to defend her case, and told the teacher that she was not crazy, that she really was a witch. What was the use of hiding it now that Amanda was probably going to tell everyone anyways?
There was a use of hiding it, a use she didn't realize back then. Her teacher had a wild fearful look in her eyes as she bent down and said softly, "It's okay Perlita. There are people that can help you with this problem of yours." That was when Perlita's journey began. First it was to the therapist, then it was to the doctor. None could figure out what was wrong with her. They even tried using a "lie detector" and nothing could figure out if Perlita was lying or not about the magical abilities she told them about. They found only one answer. She was a loony. And guess where they took her next? You guessed right, the house of lunatics. They locked Perlita up in a mental asylum.
Hearing this Vincent was absolutely furious. He started a case with the court for unjustly putting someone in a mental asylum. Though at the time Vincent was only 13, and he needed his aunt's assistance with winning the case. Though his aunt was no where near as helpful as he had hoped. She did absolutely nothing. It seemed like she could care less about if Perlita didn't get released from the mental asylum. In fact, it seemed like she'd rather not have the girl back. It took him 3 years. 3 years to get enough evidence of his own, talk to all of Perlita's doctors, and manage to juggle school work at the same time. 3 years later, Vincent was able to get Perlita out of the mental asylum. Perlita wasn't the bubbly young girl she used to be. She had grown up in those three years. Being locked up in a white cell, being told that she was dangerous to herself, was not something a young girl could handle. Perlita came out of the asylum at the age of 13 and Vincent had then become 16.
Perlita refused to go to school with anyone from the neighbourhood. She was known as the "loony" of the town, she couldn't bear to go to school with these people that didn't know the truth, these people that had all assumed she was insane. Vincent convinced their aunt that him and his sister be enrolled in a boarding school, and being happy to be rid of them, she easily agreed. While in boarding school, Vincent took care of his sister like a father. When he had turned 18, he had to leave her in the boarding school alone for 3 years, but he quickly came and brought her home after that. They now live together peacefully, her brother is currently searching for a job, while he's enrolled Perlita in university. Their aunt had passed away the year Perlita graduated from high school, so they now have her moderately large house to themselves.

Sailor History:
At the age of 8, Perlita had gotten into a car accident. Her aunt had been drunk and was trying to drive her to a store to go shopping, but got into a major car crash on the way. Perlita had to be taken to the hospital. While she was there she had a strange dream. In her dream a white figure, who looked quite a lot like her had told her that she would always be there to help her. In her hand the figure held a white pearl, and said that it would help her as well.
Once Perlita had woken up, she had found a pocketwatch with a pearl placed on the lid. Without hesitating, she slippeed it into her pocket. While she was on her way to a nearby fast food restaurant at the age of 10, a month or so before she was sent to the mental asylum, she had gotten attacked by what seemed like a demon. She was about to use her magic on it, but something inside her told her to use the pocketwatch. She did as her gut told her to and that was the first time she unleased her senshi powers.
Immediately, she told her brother and ever since then he decided that he would train her while he trained himself (Perlita's brother trains his magic, sword-fighting and normal fighting skills). An obstacle arose quite quickly. After only a few months of training Perlita had been deemed "insane" and the training had obviously been stopped. After coming out of the mental asylum, it had taken a year for Perlita to be mentally well after being stuck in one room for so long, so yet another year was lost in training. When she finally started training again, her powers seemed to be quite weak from lack of using them. This is why Perlita seems to be one of the weakest senshi if she uses her senshi powers. Her magical powers on the other hand come to her naturally. She has a bit of issues with potions, but when it comes to spells she's a natural learner. She's been trying to use her spells less when fighting, but she still had troubles with her senshi powers.

Vincent can come off as quite charming, though of course it depends on the situation. He’s a complete gentleman, but at the same time he gives off a cold aura. As charming as he may be, it comes to him naturally, he doesn’t try to be charming. He prefers not to be all that charming, seeing as how he doesn’t want to give anyone the wrong impression. He can be quite cold and mysterious at the same time, seeing as how like his sister he trusts only a few people. He’s quite a mature young man and extremely over-protective, which all comes with taking care of his sister for so many years.
Relationship with Perlita:
Vincent is an extremely protective brother; many would say he’s over-protective. Perlita thinks of him as a person that she can tell anything to. He acts like a father to her seeing as how there is no one else to do that job at the moment. At times it seems like his sister is his world and nothing else matters. He always has Perlita’s best interest in mind. Vincent is quite a bit more mature than you would expect him to be. His childhood was taken away from him due to having to act like a parent at such a young age.

WEAK = doesn't last too long, or can be undone easily, always works
MODERATE = lasts a fair amount of time, but can be undone, usually works
STRONG = usually cannot be undone, lasts long, works depending on strength of spell-caster
DEPENDENT = depends on the spell-caster, or conditions in which spell is being cast.
• Locking Spell: Locks something so that it can only be undone with magic. [ WEAK ]
• Sealing Spell: Seals something magically, which if done properly can only be opened by the one who has sealed it. [ STRONG ]
• Enlarge/Shrink Spell: It enlarges or shrinks anything that does not have a magical shield around it. [ MODERATE ]
• Shield Spell: The shield spell's power depends on how much you use it, how long you have been doing magic, and how powerful you are. It can either make a temporary invisible shield that breaks after contact with anything, or a strong shield that can take up to 1000 hits. [ DEPENDENT ]
• Summoning Spell: This also depends on the power of the summoner. You can either summon things that are a feet away or things that are kilometers away. Key thing is being able to visualize the item and its location. Without knowing its location, it cannot be summoned. [ DEPENDENT ]
• Binding Spell: This is another power dependent spell. It binds someone in ropes that vary from easily breakable to completely indestructible. [ DEPENDENT ]
• Immobilizing Spell: This spell completely immobilizes someone. It is weaker if shot from afar, but normally it is quite strong. [ STRONG ]
• Elemental Spell: This spell can be used for ways. It can either make water, air, earth, or fire. It depends on the hand/wand motions made by the sorceror. Depending on the power of the spell caster, this spell varies in strength. [ DEPENDENT ]
• Light/Dark Spell: This spell and it's counter spell turns on the nearest light. If no light source is found, it creates a small orb of light in the caster's palm or wand tip. [ WEAK ]
• Cloning Spell: This is a very hard spell, depending on what you are cloning. If you are cloning a human it is very hard and may result in injuries, if you are cloning inanimate objects it is an easy spell and user-friendly.
[ DEPENDENT ]
• Slashing Spell: Causes sudden gashes or slashes in the opponents skin, deepness depends on spell-caster. Usually user-friendly. [ STRONG ]
• Teleporting Spell: Very user-friendly. All you must do is think of where you wish to go. [ NO CLASSIFICATION ]
• Instant Kill Spell: Extremely hard to do. Must be extremely concentrated on target. Some users cannot perform this spell. But it has a 100% chance of hitting the target and will kill immediately. [ STRONG ]
Potions
• Essence of Bane: A pain potion. Majority of the time it only causes a large amount of pain, but if brewed precisely it may cause death.
