The Celsus Wonder is an expansive room approximately the size of a large dining room (perhaps about twenty feet in all directions), connected by a small hallway to the main building. It is octagonal in shape, and there are narrow strips of glass on each wall for windows, which are latticed.
Celsus' Wonder consists of a studio of sorts that some might have called a study instead. It's messy and seemingly completely random of where everything is placed, since there is no apparent order. Everything is made from a dark, mahogany wood that was once glossy and dust-free, and the windows are curtained by thick, faded emerald drapes. Dozens of shelves line the walls, all filled with miscellaneous books that have yellowed pages and cracked spines. Bits of old, ink-stained parchment, some with edges burnt by candles long since extinguished, cover the floor, the broken chairs, and the scarred tables.
Most importantly, however, there are dozens upon dozens of various art supplies littering almost every surface available, from paints to ink quill pens to pencils to charcoal to broken and dilapidated sculptures. Along with the art supplies, however, there are also small little gadgets made from wood and string, blown from glass (though most of these are shattered), and carved out of stone. In fact, there are so many things in this room, it would take years to find everything.
Celsus' ancestor would be, like Celsus, easygoing, friendly, and cheerful - but perhaps a bit more reckless and stubborn, refusing to budge from his beliefs. He'd be very strong-minded, confident without being arrogant, but again, very hard to shake out of his belief about something once he's set on it.
