Okay, I really don't know if this is a problem with my copy of the game or what... But every time I tried to kill something and swiped at it with my sword, it doesn't DO anything! sad So I got tired cuz I just kept getting owned by rats. xD

There is a glitch in the game to get the highest stats possible and this is how... When you start a new game, in the shop in the first town (its been a while since i have played and i can't remember the town names except a few) there is a spell called Jack of Trades. It costs around 300-500 gold to buy but it is needed for this glitch. After buying the spell, go to Balamora and join the mages guild. The woman that can teleport you has a spell called Soul Trap. It as well is needed. After buying Soul Trap talk to the woman that can make spells for you. When in the spell making screen, add Soul Trap and make it's duration 1 second and make it on target (not touch or on self). After that, because of the Jack of Trades spell, you can add any stat (strength, speed, agility, etc) to it, making it Soul Trap your target and add the skill to yourself. If you have a low luck, start with luck + 10. Every time you cast the spell, you will have 10 luck added until you delete your character. So it lasts forever. This only works for Morrowwind and sadly not for oblivion. (Stats can go above 10,000 by the way) If you have any problems with this glitch just let me know.

It's the original.

That very well may be it there was a batch of games that came out that did that bcuz of a bad glitch that also almost always crashed the game I would recommend looking for the goty edtion. It will fix all your problem.

There's also a pretty handy glitch at the very beginning. After you get your papers, but before you give them to the second guy, you go in the same little area you find Fargoth's ring. There's a wall that isn't really a wall. In the corner closest to the rest of the town, you can jump and continue to jump until you are outside the wall.
Then you can do anything. You can steal anything, as long as you drop it before a guard comes and let's you off with a warning. It's perty chill. You just can't start the main quest line until you give the second guy your papers. So, you know, don't lose them. :]

I also like dropping things when the cross-hair is right on top of someone's head. They float in mid air. biggrin OR building a house out of pillows, which does take some time on the original box.

AND! I like the fact that you can use candles and lanterns instead of just torches, and that they actually burn out. It was just more realistic then Oblivion.
