Yesterday was Coming Out Day, a day nationwide (possibly world wide for the western world) where GLBTI individuals can come out and know that others are coming out too. For many people in other parts of the world (and even in areas of our respective countries), this luxury is not available to them. Those who have remained loyal to Christ know the affliction and cruelty that this world has afflicted on this community and even in Christ's name has this evil been justified. But those of us who have the law written on our hearts knows this is wrong and this is not with the Spirit. I not only pray that those of you who are part of the GLBTI community not only have the courage to stand up and face the shame the world tries to inflict on it, but that one day all churches will recognize there GLBTI members and not falsely label them. I also pray and hope that those outside of the GLBTI community will have the courage to stand up and say that this injustice is wrong. Will stand up against the authorities and powers that claim that they are doing Gawd's Will and using the Wurd. If they knew the God that they claimed to serve and the Word they claim to follow, they would not be spewing the evil that they did. Support those coming out and let the light of Christ shine within you and help it shine in others as well.
