Well, I have seen many posts in many threads about interesting facts. So... Why not make a topic?

Post your facts here! ^^ nothing else lol... in case i do a speech on cheese next week, For some strange, unknown reason... and dont even know if im goin to do one ninja ninja yeah.... ninja ninja

I have one! Ummm...

Many cheeses contain rennet, which is "the contents of the stomach of an unweaned animal and especially a calf" (from the dictionary sweatdrop ). It's used in curdling milk. Buuuut, it's possible to get rennet-free cheeses, you just have to be sure to read your labels and stuff. So those who are lacto-ovo vegetarian like me have to watch out for such things sweatdrop For one thing, I can't eat most macaroni-and-cheeses. But I do buy a yummy rennet-free cheese pizza that tastes great 3nodding

Cows from California are not happy (unlike the commercial that states "Good cheese comes from happy cows."). Cows from CA have to put up with smog, heat waves, being shot at... and many many more unhappy cow things. Cheese from California cannot come from happy cows and therefore make good cheese... because the cows are not happy! You want some good happy cow cheese, get some from Wisconsin.
