It had been such a long time since Kaia was able to enjoy the outside. Lately it had done nothing but rain and storm. It had gone on for quite a wile and she was sure it was going to go on for another few days. It was a good think it didn't. If it had she might have just gone crazy cooped up in that cave, and walking around in the rain with her armor on wasn't much of a good idea ether. The only time she actually let was to get something to eat. Of course she was carful not to be gone too long. She didn't need her cloths rusting and giving up on her. It took quite a wile to clean her cloths once they were dirty and rusted.
Walking out of her little cave she took a look around. She loved to see the land after a good rain. It was beautiful and the dew left over made the land sparkle. It was a good day to continue on her way. She had been traveling on her own looking for a place to live and to even find a mate. So far all the places she had been too didn't seem right to her. Maybe this time she would find the right place. She made her way down the small path that led from her little cave to a watering hole. She had remembered passing it the other day. A drink would do her good right about now.

Xavier hadn't really bothered to wait out the rains inside some cave or tree or other; It made little difference to him how wet he was. Still, he was glad when it finally ended. Xavier found it ironic enough that he was drying himself off right next to a watering hole. But there was a nice, large space between the water and the trees, where he sun can warm him without being hindered by shadows.
The white fox was lying on his side in the grass, and was close to sleep. His eyes were still slightly open, though, and was staring at the surface of the water.

Making her way down the path she couldn't help but feel that today was going to be a good day. She didn't know why, just that she felt like something good was going to happen. Walkin into the clearing of the lake she stopped to look at it for a moment. It was not longer the small water hole she had seen a few days before. The rain had made the watering hole grow! It was now something of a small lake.
"Oh my..." She blinked for a moment before making her way down toward the water. "The rain sure has taken its tole on the watering hole... I wonder what other things it has done to the land..."

Xavier's ear twitched at the sound of noise; it had definitely been the voice of an approaching vixen. Speaking of approaching vixens... His eyes only had to drift a certain amount upwards to see her walking along the path. And she was certainly the most interesting vixen that Xavier had ever seen. Her hair was worn differently, and she wore brown... clothing. Like that of a human. And Xavier knew that some foxes did that, but had never seen one first hand until now.
He moved up into a sitting position, knowing that the vixen would see him now and either attack, run away, or not care and simply approach. She may even make conversation or something. At the moment, Xavier didn't particularly care which of the three options she would choose, though he did prefer if it wasn't the very first one. Either way, he just sat there by the water, pretending not to look at her, yet watching her anyways.

Kaia stopped when she spotted a male over by the trees. It had been a wile since she had seen another fox, or a male for that mater. She smiled and decided that she was going to see what was going on. She made her way over and stopped a little ways away from him. She didn't want to invade his space unless he wanted.
"Excuse me... I hope you don't mind me asking but... what are you doing here? I haven't seen many foxes around."

Xavier could fully examine the vixen now, without being thought of as weird. She had addressed him, after all, and it only made sense. The clothing she wore, he could see now, was quite intricate. He couldn't help but wonder what sort of purpose it served. "I don't mind at all," he replied as he noticed all that he could about her. "I'm merely here to dry off in the sunlight."
He let a few moments of silence pass before deciding to pose a question of his own. "What I personally don't see very often is a vixen in human clothing. Would you mind if I asked what you wore all of that for?"

"Oh of course... That makes perfect sense..." She looked toward the sky. The sun was hitting well in this spot. He would get dry in no time. "The sun seemed to be shining well over here..." She smiled back at him. "You should get dry in no time." It had been a wile since she had seen a male. She hadn't come in contact with many and the ones she did didn't seem to care or even give her a glance. She was glad to know not all males were like that. "Oh my armor?" She looked at herself. "Its to protect me from getting hurt. If I get into a fight and someone tries to scratch me or bite me they are going to have a rather hard time getting through this."
