Haru opened the door for Akara. "So. . what are we here to get, anyway?" He asked curiously. Haru smelled the sweet scent of chocolate. Mm. . . .sweets. . . . A smile grew across his face, knowing he would have to get some while he was here.

" A Samurai Should Always Be Prepared For Death..." -Ryou Yamada-As soon as Ryou walks in, He took a huge sniff and smelled.. Fish. " Mmm, the smell of raw fish." he says sarcasticly. He goes through every aisle trying to find candy. He looks up at checks every sign. " Ah, aisle 7." he runs and makes a quick turn left at the end of the aisle. He reaches up to get 3 lollipops, " I really dont look like a guy who eats lollipops, do i?" he says to himself. He looks at his list of groceries. " Next is... Fruits." as he was walking down the aisles he noticed someone by the door sniffing the area around him. "Haha, He probaby smelled the fish too." "..Whether its his own or someone elses."

She squinted slightly in the brightly lit store, assaulted by the sudden onslaught of multiples scents, colors, and noises. She made a small list of what she needed to pick up. Just the basics."Well, Haru, first things first. We need flour, sugars, baking soda and powder, milk, butter - maybe some crisco - vegetable and olive oil, and a couple spices. Then we can pick up a few vegetables and some ground beef, for the calzones. Mmm!" She closed her eyes in delight, licking her lips lightly, and sort of dancing a bit in place. Calzones were her favorite meal in the world, and she very much enjoyed making them. The batch could last for days!"Let me just grab one of these carts, and we can get started. Let me know if you want to purchase anything, too! I'll cover it."And she most certainly could. Her family did not leave her wanting for much. She picked out a smaller-sized cart, and headed off towards Aisle 1, but not before slightly tugging on Haru's sleeve, letting her fingers linger a little longer than she normally would have.

Haru couldn't help it as he watched Akara walk passed him into the store. He hadn't noticed yet the whole way here how pretty she really was. Haru smiled widely without even noticing. "Calzones? I love calzones!" He exclaimed. After Akara offered to get something for Haru, he felt very happy to have met such a wonderful person, however, he couldn't let her buy anything for him. It just didn't seem right to him. " Eh. Thank you very much, but I can pay for my stuff, silly girl!" He said with a chuckle. His face grew red as he noticed her hand on his arm and it made him unconsciously move a little close to her.

"Oh, good! I wondered if you knew, most people just think I'm talking about pizzones. They're actually completely different!" Akara laughed lightly and turned her head to smile at Haru, noting his closeness. She felt her heat flutter a bit, and enjoyed the slight rush that was filling her body. Infatuation was one of the best feelings. If she truly was infatuated, that is. Perhaps she was just elated at having a new friend.
He is attractive though. But I barely know him! And I came here to better my skills. Come on girl, focus now. The young woman huffed slightly, as she nestled her chin into the top of her jacket. From the comfort of the soft fabric, she spied a few ingredients, and swiftly pulled them from the shelves into the cart.
"Only if you're sure. I'm definitely able to pay for both of us." She hoped that her comment didn't come off as rude, just honesty.

Haru laughed. "Ask me again and I'm not even going to let you pay for your own stuff! Silly girl. " He yanked one of her spices and held it up in the air indicating she wouldn't be walking out of here paying for herself. At that moment, Haru saw and isle with candies and chocolates. Immediately The spice fell back to it's place in her basket and Haru grabbed a basketvhimself and was already hovering over things grabbing whatever he could, singing wholeheartedly about sweets as he filled his own basket.

"Hm. You really like sweets, huh?" The young woman approached Haru from behind, following him into the candy section. Her cart rattled slightly from a loose wheel. She looked at the selection, and reached for a box of almond rocha on the top shelf. She rose to her tiptoes, and sort of batted at the corner of the box, letting it fall into her hands.
"Gotcha!" Akara smiled, placing the sweets into her cart."No way you're paying for this massive amount of groceries. I got it. So, Haru, why did you come to Fuyu? I'm curious."

Haru looked at the collection of things in his basket and the collection of things in her basket. "Pssh! I'll buy the store if that's what you want." He said chuckling as he grabbed the last box of Milano cookies.
Haru stopped for a moment when Akara asked him why he was at Fuyu. After getting lost for a moment in thought, he began looking for some Pocky. "My mother thought it'd be best for me. I'm not like the rest of my family." He said with a smile as he continued his search.

Akara noticed Haru's hesitation, but decided to not press the issue. Perhaps something bad had happened? She wasn't in the same situation as a lot of students here, so she must be careful when asking why they were sent here."Well, your mother sounds like a smart lady. I have a feeling Fuyu will have a lot to teach us all."
The young woman huffed slightly, leaning forwards onto her arms, resting against the cart while she held it in place with her foot."My family's sort of...notorious, where I come from. I've been trying to not be like them my whole life. I want to attain everything on my own standards."

Haru looked at Akara for a moment. He thought to himself. Should I say it. . ? I don't wanna seem out of line. Ah, what the hell. . "Well, whether you're like your family or not, I think you seem perfect just the way you are." He said as he smiled and turned back to his search. "Ah, ha!" He exclaimed, finally finding the pocky. Of course, it was all the way on the bottom shelf.

Color rushed to Akara's cheeks in embarrassment. Her bright eyes widened a bit, somewhat shocked at the sudden compliment. She hadn't been expecting it in the least, and she froze for a moment."I-uh...t-that....thank you." she stuttered."You're pretty perfect too..."
Oh, now, that was cheesy. Akara winced, her face contorting somewhat as she realized exactly what she had just said. She watched Haru search for something among the sweets on the shelf.
"Pocky? Which one is your favorite?" She asked, attempting to divert the conversation away from her awkwardness.

Almost done shopping now. The young woman wandered further down the isle. All that she needed to get now were the vegetables. Carrots, celery, mushrooms. All those delicious ingredients.
