I had a random thought last night and I just remember it! What if Gaia had started back in the 90's? Like when we are all rocking Window or if you were cool enough an IMB or such. What do you think would be different and how do you think would have shaped what Gaia is today?

Me I think it would have been the standard forum/BBS type threads and probably would have had a e-mail feature like other sites had back in the day. The IM system probably would have lasted a lot longer but taken down for cybering. I think we would just now be having all the games we DO have now but a lot of the games much like homes and towns would be obsolete because they would have been shockwave or worst. Oh and instead of people trying to compare Gaia to Facebook I guess people would have compared Gaia to Bolt.com, Gurl.com, and Yahoo geosites or groups. LOL. The forums would have been a lot of fun too I mean the AMC would had DBZ VS Sailor Moon topics, Site feeback would wanted more icons, better text formatting, and things like that. (As I don't think we would have avatars but probably icons.) Man the Gaming and Tech forum would be win.

I kind of wish Gaia had started in the 90's.

So many animated gifs... Seriously, 90's web design was bad...

There was a lot of bright too. And people not getting what colour text to use one what colour background (which admittedly is still an issue sometimes).
