[21:08] Alexina:
Katen was actually taken a small break. Suitcase in hand, book in his face as he read he was going for a simple walk. Course in his head he was still planning out the day in which the order things should be got done.
[21:16] SillyAngelKitty: Tel could be found sitting near the lake perched on a large boulder. She softly sighed feeling a bit releaved that nobody was around. It gave her a chance to relax without being all worried about others finding her. She removed her scarf then pulled her sweater over her head. She pulled off her pants then leaned back in only her under clothes to enjoy the sun warming her body.
[21:18] Alexina:
Katen didn’t even seem to notice her as he walked by. Pausing after awhile to adjust his glasses, not looking up from his book even he would calmly say. “If you stay like that someone may see and try to take advantage of you. Do have some decency and put on at least a bathing suit.”
[21:23] SillyAngelKitty: Tel's eyes shot open panic written across her face. Very few ventured out here. What the hell was he doing here? She flushed then grabbed her clothes scrambling off the boulder to hide behind the nearest tree. She was decent wasn't she? What the hell was a bathing suit? She struggled to get her jeans on. She fell over hitting her head and passing out.
[22:23] Alexina:
“How troublesome.” Katen would say putting the book into his brief case as he head the girl fall pretty much. His ears twitching some annoyed. He would head over to look down at her before picking her and any items she might have up. Taken her back to his room, which was probably like a presidents suite in one of the casino’s hotels since that was where he worked. Laying her on the bed, he would call a doctor before going to his desk to work.
[22:28] SillyAngelKitty: "Mmmmmmmmm........" Tel opened her eyes long after the dr had come and looked her over. She blinked her shirt was still off and where was she? She looked around spotting Katen and realizing she was inside somewhere. His house? She shirked then scrambled over the nightstand knocking a lamp off causing it to crash to the floor. She scanned the room for a way out. A door yes that was the way out. She ran over to the door pulled it open then closed it. She let out a loud cry having found herself in a closet.
[22:31] Alexina:
Katen of course didn’t seem to flinch as she panicked. Not even commenting when she closed herself in the closet. “Please pick up the lamp.” He said calmly not even turning around. “You’re clothes are in the drawls under it, well items you didn’t put on. The exit is to the left of me.” He wasn’t going to even bother getting up it seemed. He had no need to keep her there. “27th floor, I would suggest taken the elevator over the stairs.”
[22:36] SillyAngelKitty: Tel wasn't coming out fear had gribbed her. She curled up into the smallest ball she could and cried to scared to leave the closet. Her tail was fluffed up and covering her face. Where was she? She could only remember something about a bathing suit. What the hell was a bathing suit?
[22:38] Alexina:
Katen couldn’t be bothered, he let her stay there as long as she wanted, probably sighing after awhile to call room service. After awhile she would hear a knock on the door. “Mr. Katen says I should . . . bring this to you here?” A new voice spoke, probably a young Noct who worked at the hotel.
[22:53] SillyAngelKitty: Tel blinked at the person. "What?" She softly asked then took her clothes from the other. She pulled the closet shut then dressed herself in the dark before daring to peak out of the closet. She peered curiously at Katen. "Why am I here?" She asked in a quiet hushed voice.
[23:00] Alexina:
“Because you foolishly knocked yourself out somehow.” Katen said calmly before pointing in the direction of food and drink the room service guy had brought up. “I suppose I could have just left you, would have saved me a lot of trouble. I figured you would prefer to not wake up there though and had a doctor look over you. You’re foolish, but are healthy and safe.” He would move a pen on the desk to mark down some numbers, not turning at all still. “You can leave when you want, I’m not your caretaker.”
[23:06] SillyAngelKitty: Tel started shaking a bit. He was one of them he had to be. He was speaking to her and had his nose so far in a book he didn't even look at her. Had he already told them he had found her? She felt a bit paniced. She didn't want to go back. She drew back into the closet fumbling around looking for something. Anything. She grabbed up a shoe then crawled out of the closet across the floor with his shoe. She intended on knocking him out and then fleeing hoping he would forget where he had seen her. She rose up behind him with the shoe held high. She started to bring it down to knock his head with it.
[23:08] Alexina:
Katen with amazing speed would just grab Tel’s wrist, gently taken the shoe with his other hand. Not turning around still. “Have I insulted you somehow that you would attack me? I suppose I should be glad you didn’t have a gun.” He would actually slowly turn to look at her finally. “I have caused you no harm, yet you wish it on me. Now, I’m afraid you will have to explain yourself. I was letting you keep to yourself until this.”

[23:18] SillyAngelKitty: Tel squeaked with a look of shock and surprise on her face. One had never done that before. She broke down into tears. "Please? I beg if you if you had a heart you wouldn't make me go back! Please forget you ever saw me. Call them back and tell them you were mistaken." She sobbed out obviously scared out of her wits by something he was not related to.
[23:21] Alexina:
Katen’s expression didn’t change; he would merely let her go when she started to cry. “I have called no one but room service and the doctor for you, looking out for your own well being.” He would adjust his glasses to lean in closer almost face to face to her. “So . . . who did you THINK I called?”
[23:27] SillyAngelKitty: Tel continued to sob. "The men who kept me chained up. The men in black robes. Please don't send me back to them. I don't want to be a spy. I don't want to seduce men. I just want to be a girl!" She sobbed out.
[23:29] Alexina:
Katen listened before turning around. “Tasteless.” He shook his head. “I do my own work, I don’t need a child to do it for me. And anyone who does, isn’t worth bothering with.” He would motion to the food and drink again. “If you want a place to stay, and a room I can set you up with a job if you wish. We do have a few openings serving drinks in the casino, and they tip well. Plus we have good security so you should be safe.”
[23:37] SillyAngelKitty: Tel blinked tears still in her eyes. "You aren't making me go back?" She hadn't found a home and she had been taking baths in the lake. Course she didn't have soap so she might smell a little bit. "Stay here? Where am I?" She asked shyly as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
[23:39] Alexina:
“One of the casino’s motels, and no not here, this is my room, but perhaps another room.” Katen sighed, she better be worth her salt when serving drinks with what he was betting on her. “Of course your room would be much smaller, you won’t be able to afford one like this.” He would glance back to her raising an eyebrow. “Are you going to eat or not? And you may as well take a bath too . . . no one wants someone who smells to serve them a drink.” Of course he ignored her first question, it was repetitive and he had already answered it once.
[23:48] SillyAngelKitty: Tel blushed a bit. She got up then cautiously made her way over to where the food was. She peered at it then gave it a bit of a sniff. She peered over at Katen before starting to eat. She ate everything there was to offer and drank up what there was before scurrying to the bathroom. She peeked around the bathroom sniffing his soap and shampoo before peeking her head out. "Do you have any soap and shampoo that wouldn't make me smell like a man?" She softly asked.
[23:50] Alexina:
She finally would get a twitch out of Katen for that. He wouldn’t think beggars could be picky after all. He would merely point to the phone. “Dial 3 for room service, have them bring you up whatever you need . . . and get some new clothes while you’re at it . . . those probably stink as well.”

[23:54] SillyAngelKitty: Tel scurried over to the phone. She peered at it then at him. She bit her lip. She had never used a phone before. She had never been allowed to in that place. She scratched her head then pressed the button with the three on it. She stood there looking at it wondering if something would happen. She would stand there for a few minutes blankly looking at the phone. Finally she softly squeaked out. "It's not doing anything."
[23:59] Alexina:
Katen would actually slam his hands down on the desk for that one before standing to walk over to her. “If you are useless you may as well leave.” He took her hand lifting the phone to her ear. “You talk to them through it like this.” She could probably hear ‘hello, Mr. Katen? Hello??? How can I help you?’ through it. “Just tell them what you want.”
[00:05] SillyAngelKitty: Tel's ears went against her head in fear taking the phone. She told the lady what she wanted then put the phone back. She looked at Katen wringling her tail and about to cry. "They never told me how to take care of myself. They never let me use a phone. I was only allowed to know what they wanted me to know." She hung her head. "I'm sorry if I'm useless." She softly whimpered.
[00:06] Alexina:
Katen seemed like he couldn’t care less. He merely went back to his desk to start his work back up. “I’m a very busy man miss?” he would wait for her name. “Time means a lot of money when it comes to me. Don’t stop me from working, and we should be fine, no matter what you wish to flitter about doing. Understand?”
[00:14] SillyAngelKitty: Tel nodded her head. "Do you know anybody who might be able to teach me?" She softly asked. "I'm a fast learner. I just don't know the basics." She twitched her ears hearing someone knocking on the door. She looked at him then the door. "Can I let whoever is out there in?"
[00:16] Alexina:
Katen nodded towards the door. “Yes, it’s your stuff.” He said calmly keeping to his work. “Maybe one of the fellow employees’s will take you under their wings. You’re lucky to get what you are out of me as it is. I don’t have time to baby sit you as well.”
[00:26] SillyAngelKitty: Tel hurried over to the door taking what was given to her. "Thank you." She said softly. Then slipped into the bathroom. She soon reappeared cleaning clean and wearing a knee length white dress. She really didn't want to bother him more. So she scurried around the room cleaning up things and making the bed humming softly to herself. She perched on the edge of the bed waiting for him to hopefully take a break.
[00:28] Alexina:
Katen of course would let her do what she pleased, his room was usually very neat as it was though. After awhile he would close his books and stand to look at her. “I suppose you won’t do anything without a guide will you? So what do you want to start with?”
[00:39] SillyAngelKitty: Tel peered at him. "I'm Telandra." She said softly. "I know very very little on taking care of myself. But I do whatever I am told to do." All her life all she knew how to do was play roles that would be given to her. She never realised running away would be so hard for her. She thought she knew everything there was to know. Yet they were cruel and never taught her the simplest of tasks. "Maybe take me to someone else so I don't bother you Mr. Katen."
[00:41] Alexina:
Katen merely looked her over before sighing and heading to the door. “Follow me. As for someone else, never expect someone else to do a better job than you yourself can do.” He would push his glasses back up on his face. “Do you want to work and stay here or not? I never got a full answer.”

[00:46] SillyAngelKitty: Tel got to her feet then wandered into the bathroom. She grabbed her clothes then came back out. "I'll stay if someone teaches me what to do." She said softly. "You say the bad men can't hurt me here?"
[00:49] Alexina:
“I said we have good security, that if they do or try they will pay dearly for it. You will be protected while on the grounds.” Katen glanced back to her. “Room or job first?”
[00:54] SillyAngelKitty: Tel thought a moment. "Maybe room first so I can put my things away. Then show me how to work?" She looked at him feeling a bit more relaxed. She liked the thought of not being hurt and taken back to the compound. "Thank you." She softly said.
[00:59] Alexina:
Katen of course wouldn’t answer, merely open the door for her and wait for her to exit before locking it behind him. “It won’t be easy work, and all your pay will be tips and only that. You will get free room here while you work full time though, which means forty hours a week. You will also get free meals while you’re working at the appropriate times, the rest you will have to buy on your own. Any questions?” He would pause to look her over. “What floor do you prefer to live on?” He would point to his room number. “Remember that number and this floor, in case you need to come to me for something.”
[01:01] SillyAngelKitty: Tel listened to him silently while standing in the hall. She peered at the door memorizing the number. She already knew she was on the twenty seventh floor. She nodded at him. "Yes sir. I understand and will do my best."
[01:03] Alexina:
“Floor number you prefer?” Katen repeated annoyed, he hated wasting time and so far waiting for answers was doing that. “Come now Miss . . . we haven’t got all day.”
[01:18] SillyAngelKitty: Tel blinked. "Ohhhh ummm sorry. Where ever I won't be a bother to anybody is fine." She really did not know what floor she wanted to be on. She had never been in a place like this before. She looked down at the floor then spotted her ankle. She would have to figure out how to cover it up. The fur wasn't growing back where her shackle had been those three years.
[01:20] Alexina:
Now Katen was getting annoyed again. “Fine, floor two, you can bug the people there and stay far from me.” He would lead her to the elevators and click on a button. While waiting and ridding down he would ignore her completely while talking on the floor as soon as the doors open someone would hand him a key and leave. This key he would hand to her. “This way to your room.”
[01:22] SillyAngelKitty: Tel quietly took the key and followed after him. She could tell he already hated her. She really couldn't blame him. In her eyes she was nothing more then a child having to learn things. But she would be learning from complete strangers not her own family. She hated how her life ended up.
[01:24] Alexina:
Katen would stop at a door and pointed to it. Inside when she opened it, it was much smaller than his, had a bathroom a bed and a kitchen. But it probably would be enough to handle all her needs. “Shall I wait while you get adjusted? Remember room service is number 3 but they charge for their services. I am number 1 if you need my help.”
[01:28] SillyAngelKitty: Tel looked at him then placed her clothes on a chair. "There is nothing I need to get adjusted to. Please take me to learn what I need to do for work." She said softly before exiting the room and waiting for him.
[01:31] Alexina:
Katen nodded before showing her behind the scenes tossing her a week’s worth of uniforms. “Clean one daily, and you can have them clean and pressed here free of charge so no excuses for being sloopy.” He would then toss a box of shoes on them. “Keep your hair up and neat at all time, not a single hair should be found in the drinks.” He would snap his fingers and someone would take the items from her and probably up to her room. “Follow me and I’ll show you the bar where you get the drinks and who all you will be asking if they want any. The drunk someone is the better they tip, and the more likely they lose. Be careful though too drunk and you may get more than you can handle.”
[01:33] SillyAngelKitty: Tel nodded her head. "Yes sir. What are tips sir?" She followed him around much like a shadow. "Will someone help me if I am confused?"
[01:35] Alexina:
Katen twitched some at that question. “It’s the extra they give you outside the cost of the drink. Can you do basic math?” He asked slightly annoyed, if not the bar tenders might have to do it for her. He nodded when she asked for help. “For . . . I’ll give you a month, if you’re hopeless past that you can find a new place to live and work for, understand?”

[01:39] SillyAngelKitty: Tel looked at him. "Of course I can do math sir. I can also speak in four different languages then my native one also. I can play several instruments and sing. I can draw and write. I'm very well educated in stupid stuff." Her ears dropped a bit. "They trained me in every subject. But left out the ones for basic survival. I think it was to make sure I would not leave them."
[01:41] Alexina:
Katen paused listening to her before turning slowly. “What languages?” He asked curious, of course he could probably speak them all as well. “If you are useful you might work yourself up to better jobs if you impress the boss.”
[01:50] SillyAngelKitty: Tel looked at him. "I can speak French, German, Chinese and Japanese sir." She rambled off a phrase in each language perfectly. "I shall do my best to not fail sir. I'm sure I can do this. I just need a little help."
[01:52] Alexina:
“You may have too while taken orders.” Katen said simply allowing his impress nature to fade fast as she showed off to him in his eyes. HE would walk her around the whole casino, explaining who to ask for drinks and such, the winning ones more, the ones who looked rich. He would take her to the bar, introduce her, and basically take and do one order to show her what it was like. “Do you have any questions so far?”
[01:56] SillyAngelKitty: Tel shook her head. "This seems easy enough sir. I ask a person what they want, go tell the person up at the bar, take the order back to them, collect the money and take away any used glasses from them." She smiled at him. "Did I miss anything?"
[01:58] Alexina:
Katen shook his head. “I will give you one week free food and free of work on me. USE that time to shadow the girls already working here. After that week I trust you to get to work and earn your keep. Now, can you be left alone?”
[02:01] SillyAngelKitty: Tel nodded her head. "Yes sir. Just one more thing sir. Is there somewhere I can get new clothes once I start working?" All she had was the clothes he found her with. She honestly had nothing in the world but those clothes.
[02:06] Alexina:
“You can keep that dress there.” Katen said simply. “You have your work clothes, and you can leave and go shopping anytime you’re off the clock.” He would start to walk away. “You’re on your own from here on out. Do not bug me unless it’s an emergency.”
[02:08] SillyAngelKitty: Tel nodded her head. "Yes sir." She quietly watched everyone flitting around the casino feeling a bit lost but maybe safe for the first time leaving the compound. She walked up to one of the waitresses asking her if she might follow her around.
