I can read the lines
They're slowly disappearing

Like I've been rehearsing it all this time
I'm the leading role
And I can feel my heart-beat decreasing
I have no control, I'm watching it all un-fold
I'm upon a stage and it's unnerving
My lines are almost gone and my heart's stopped beating
I catch a glimpse of what the last line reads
"I'm half-enthusiastic about the coming dawn,
I feel no need to find a replacement; I'm leaving
My life's been staged, I don't feel the need to be Benignant
I've haven't lived my life and thus is my punishment"
