Cedric
Serenade was happy and Cedric was glad to see that. Happy was much easier to deal with than anything else.
She was... almost too happy. In fact, if he thought about it at all she had made a really dramatic turn around and it was kind of strange.
But it seemed like the sort of thing that if he were to question it, it would vanish into thin air and he would never see it again.
Instead, he gave a simple nod, smile and an acknowledgment of what she had said.
"It's no problem. I wouldn't mind heading back anyways."
Cedric looked up at the sky and traced the rough position of the sun. He knew the lands well, so as long as they headed in the right general direction he would be able to put them on a more definite course.
The Persian then lifted his behind for the first time in a while and took off at a fair pace after a short stretch. It was brisk, but not unreasonable... he didn't want to walk there as slowly as he had walked to the river, at least. If they went that slowly it would take them a very, very long time to get to the guilds.
