I went to Neiman's with my mom because she wanted to buy some, and I ended up having my makeup done by the Bobbi Brown people. I thought it looked really good so I bought a thing of eyeshadow. It's called 'heather'- it's a really light color and I think it looks good on me. 4laugh I may have to start wearing makeup more often! Or at least eye stuff.

WHICH IS EXACTLY WHY I BASICALLY ASKED THE LADY AT THE COUNTER TO TELL ME WHAT KIND TO BUY! I love makeup but I have no idea how to wear it, so I basically just mimic what other people do. : D

I mean here's my routine. If its even worth calling it that.
This eyeshadow that is like, my skin tone but maybe a shade lighter, I put that s**t on my eyelid. Then I put mascara on. And sometimes undereye concealer but I'm usually lazy so lol no
BAM OUT THE DOOR.
I don't know I'm weird I'm like "What if some one thinks I'm hot then they see me without make up AND LEAVE ME FOREVER"
So I keep it simple as ********.

i usually don't wear eyeshadow because it creases on me, i just put some of my face powder that's a little lighter on my lid and one that's a little darker in the crease so it looks super natural.

I love brown and black eyeshadows. I do a decent smoky eye, or at least that's what other people call it. I didn't think that's what I was doing, I was just blending it to make it nice and not drastic looking and someone as like, "Holy s**t, you do a really nice smoky eye." and I was like, "Thanks?"

I wish we had something like that around here. I would love for a professional to do my makeup. :C

it's not hard to use.
i have a mini palette of 3 eyeshadows called "honeycomb" by NYX (cheap i know but it does the job)
first i put the lightest colour all on my top lid, the second lightest colour on the outer half of my eye, and then the darkest colour in my crease. i line my eye thinly with some black eyeliner and put on some black mascara and ding, i'm done.

80% of the time I'm still sleepy so I'm not even thinking about makeup in the morning. But sometimes I'll put some eyeliner on, and then use white eyeshadow.
The makeup lady showed me to put white eye shadow up to about my brow line, then use the color I got on my lids, and then a darker color on the inside corner.
@Mary- any department store ever will do this. Just pretend like you're considering buying something and they'll usually offer to help you try things.

Yeah! As long as they have a cosmetics section, I'm pretty sure they'll do you makeup for free. I know a bunch of girls who just went to the mall to get their makeup done for free at stores like Dillards and Nordstrom. XD
