Deep Space: Negaverse Operations


With the recent knowledge of the Zodiac operations at the Surrounding, as well as a particular happenstance with the Dark Mirror Court joining the ranks of Chaos, opportunities have arisen to play havoc with the Moon Kingdom. The planet Alkaid, touched by the hands of Chaos, will be a base for all the Chaos-aligned in Deep Space. You get there through a large mirror that has been placed in the Negaverse subspace.

There is an identical mirror on the planet Alkaid, placed there by the Ascendant-General. Dark Mirror senshi will be on-hand to ferry Negaverse agents to and from the planet though realize that it is not easy for them to go back and forth on a whim. You will likely be in Deep Space for at least a day if you decide to go.


Why are we in Deep Space?

To eradicate enemy activity in the Surrounding.


How do we do that?

All Negaverse agents can gather energy to place inside special crystals that have manifested on Alkaid's surface. Once they are charged up enough, they serve a special function: an officer can use it to develop a potent link with their youma, funneling power to it and controlling it from great distances. Your youma will be teleported to the Surrounding, where you can remotely command it to wreak havoc of all kinds! The link is strong enough that you will be able to see, hear and feel everything that is going on -- for better or for worse.

Those of Captain rank or higher may do this to their personal youma and those who do not already have a personal youma, or do not wish to use it, may use the strength of an existing Rift youma.

This will count for two battle credits if you still have requirements to fill for growth.


That sounds cool! I want to do that!

Good! Then PM our mule The Space Cauldron with your idea and we'll either clear you or suggest a few adjustments. Your attack on the Surrounding will count as a sudden-death match for those trapped there. Each match can result in the death of one meta-civilian -- however, you CANNOT kill any other characters!

If you would like to enter an Outpost (not the Surrounding, their particular Outpost) for a Sudden Death please make sure the Zodiac in question is aware of it. A quick PM asking permission should not be a problem.


Hey wait! That doesn't sound too fair to us dark senshi!

Don't worry, we've got something for you too! Those senshi that are of the Dark Mirror have a lovely ability in mirrorwalking: the Surrounding has its fair share of mirrors to access. The truly enormous energy cost of this feat means that you can't exactly storm the place with this method, but it DOES enable you to sneak onto outposts and do some damage from behind enemy lines.

A Negaverse Senshi can team up with an officer and channel their attack into the power crystal being used, which results in the spell being projected through their youma. It's potent stuff!
