Manga is completely better. Cause if you don't under stand it you can always flip back to the past page. The series you won't be able to unless you own it.

Both are good in their own way. The manga usually shows a bit more than the anime. However, I think the characters look better in the anime and I alwqys appreciate good music. The only thing that bugs me about the show itself is when they insert new characters. Like Ayame.

I personally like the manga better because your reading it and you get a feeling of beeing more apart of the story when your reading it! (I don't know for some people, but for me I get that feeling while watching anime too!)
