Hey everyone,
I thought I'd try out a sand team and I need some critical feedback on how my team stands compared to others. This is the first sand team I've ever made. Unlike many, I do not use action-replay to make my pokemon so this is not my ideal sand team. I've added slashes because I'm not sure what I want to run instead. Here goes:

Smeargle@focus sash
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Own Tempo
Spore
Stealth rock
Spikes/Toxic spikes
Taunt/Magic coat

Tyranitar@Choice Scarf
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Sand Stream
Stone Edge
Crunch
Earthquake
Ice fang/Thunder Fang

Excadrill@Life orb
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Sand rush
Earthquake
Rock slide
Brick break/X-scissor
Return/Sword dance

Ferrothorn@Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Iron barbs
Protect
Leech seed
Toxic
Power whip

Scizor@Choice band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
Bullet punch
U-turn
Pursuit
Superpower

Gliscor@Flight Gem
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Sand Veil
Acrobatics
Earthquake
Sword dance
U-turn/Substitute/Rock Polish

Notes: I am aware that smeargle and tyranitar usually do not go together beacause of sand stream but smeargle is to be used as a suicide lead to set up as many entry hazards as he can. Also, most people send out their own weather starters at the beginning of a match and i can negate theirs by sending out tyranitar later. Tyranitar is to used as a revenge killer to whatever KO'd smeargle and to set up sandstorm. Excadrill is the premier sweeper of this team however there are issues with his movepool. Ferrothorn is used as my wall/staller to get rid of any threats it resists. Protect is to help gain free leech seed recovery and prolong toxic. Stealth rock and sandstorm help with foes that do not resist them. Scizor is used as a revenge killer with technician boosted pursuit and bullet punch. Brick break is there because I never taught it Superpower in Heartgold/Soulsilver. Gliscor is another sweeper type/revenge killing fighting types that try to mach punch or STAB fighting move any other team members. The idea of switching gliscor in on a fighting type is to face them with a difficult decision: stay in and possibly get taken down by a flight gem boosted acrobatics or switch out and give me a chance to set up sword dance/rock polish. Sword dance+Flight Gem boosted Acrobatics has the capability to OHKO 252HP/252Def Bold vaporeon. One major flaw I see right off the bat is my weakness to water types. Without ferrothorn, a choice scarf starmie has the capability to wreak a large number of my team. Please leave any comments/criticism.
