I just bought Shantae: Risky's Revenge, and Zenonia, on a whim. Normally, a little binge shopping is alright, but I only have about $15.00 left in my bank account now...with no source of income... So, am I an idiot for buying these, or is it just an unintended investment? Basically, what's the return? Will I be thoroughly entertained, or will I be bored until I buy another game? I understand why I bought Zenonia, it's because there really aren't very many good RPG's on the 3DS yet. And I think I bought Shantae just because it's the highest rated eShop game so far... But I spent $20.00 out of my already limited budget... I feel so stupid! cat_gonk

Yeah, having a budget can be hard. Steam has a deal every day where a specific game or series gets a huge discount for 24 hours. From that, I've gotten Lego Batman, Terraria, Bit Trip Runner, NyxQuest, NightSky, Swords and Soldiers, and World of Goo (The last 5 being part of a 5 for 1 bundle)

I was so temped to get it, but I figured I had most of the sonic games already on Gamecube. I did however, get "The Binding of Isaac" and its sountrack. It's a pretty good game so far, but it has random crashes sometimes.

I guess it depends how long you have until you have more money. It is awfully easy to charge some more eshop money. Those should be good games to last you a while at least.

Well, I don't have any source of income, and I don't get an allowance from my family, so I'm literally broke, especially after ordering Chrono Cross off of Amazon... I only have like 13 cents in my bank account...if that... But, if you have the money, Shantae is a great game! Zenonia, not so much... It's all kinds of buggy. Like, for instance, when adjusting the volume, it make a noise, and when you're running into a wall it moves you in an adjacent direction, and it's so choppy! It looks like it was made in gamemaker, to be honest... It should be lowered in price to $2.00. It even makes Anonymous Notes look good...And you can't even gain EXP in Anonymous Notes!

You've played Zenonia? OMG that game is a joke! I can hardly see the menu not to mention the fact that if you're full of items you get slowed down, man that was a waste of money the controls kept locking up on me and at one time it froze I thought my system was bricked. I can't get over the fact that I thought the game would be fun.

I haven't really tried to get into it due to the bad quality of the game... I mean, who the hell said, "Zenonia? Oh, yeah! The guys working on it said it was done, so we can release it on schedule!" I'd like to have been the guy who told him that he heard wrong right before he pressed the button to release the game... I could/should have used that money to buy a GB game and Inchworm Animation... I must never let another poor soul fall into the financial deathtrap that is "Zenonia", I will make it my life's duty!! (Overly dramatic much?)

I've played it on the original DS using my brother's R4, it's fun if you can figure out what to do. Also, I know what you were feeling, I was sitting on my couch, just staring at the purchase button, thinking, "This is way too good to be true... Something's up... Just turn around and buy Inchworm and Megaman... You'll get more out of Megaman..." then I cringed and clicked the button... I was right to have doubts... Inchworm would have been way better, cause I coulda had something to fill up my time and make goofy DS .GIFs... Off topic: I hope they get a port of Dissidia for 3DS. I mean, any PSP game would be better on 3DS, wouldn't it? Especially since you get an extra input? Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep would be so much easier to navigate on 3DS, and it could use Spotpass and Streetpass. Seriously, that's what I want to see.
