Devan was bored. Bored, lonely, and somewhat tired. Between his mother's new love and his Uncle's interest in the Naga-well he wasn't getting much attention at home. He didn't really mind it though. He wanted sometime without them hovering over him.
Independence was what he was after now. Just a tiny streak of rebellion had surfaced and he'd wandered out on his own and to the mall. He kept his wings firmly kept to his sides as he sat on the bench. He was people watching. Hopefully a Spawn would come by and he could snag them for a bit of social time. That would be nice.
His tail flicked and hit the soft plastic-like wood as he kicked his clawed feet. He just had to have patience and that was something he was incredibly gifted in. He could wait forever for something to happen.

Sipping on a iced coffee (Kaleb had just realized his love for them), the teenage spawn walked down the mall's wide corridors. He didn't have any plans, other than finding something to do. With Vincent out of the house, and Joshua on his way out of the house, Kaleb found himself lacking in something he'd always had.
Brothers.
They were pests at times, but the youngest boy in the family found that they were usually his companions--at just about anything. For the first time ever, Kaleb felt alone. Vincent wasn't too far away, but emotionally, mentally--the older boy was further. Vincent had a family of his own now. A fiancee and a baby, and they'd probably be getting a dog too.
He wanted that, too, someday. But first--he needed a friend.

Devan sighed slightly. He thought it would be easier then this to spot a spawn but so far he hadn't seen anyone. He was at least hoping for someone he knew. Getting up u from his table he shoved his hands in his pockets and glanced around pausing when a glint caught his eye.
It was unlike anything he'd ever seen. A lot of silver following a boy-no- it was part of him. A smile smoothed over his face and he began to track after him. It was a spawn, he had almost no doubt. If it wasn't, well then, he might just make another time of friend.
"Um, excuse me!" He said once he was close enough to the taller male. He wasn't sure what he'd say next but first he wanted to see what kind of person this guy was.

Kaleb turned at the sound of the voice. He smiled brightly. Maybe this boy would be the friend he was hoping for. "Um, how can I help you?" he asked. Was that the proper response? He wasn't sure, usually he was the one to initiate a conversation. "I'm Kaleb," he began. The boy before him was definitely a spawn from the seven of seven facility, he could tell. He had met a large number of them recently, and he was starting to be able to pick up on traits certain donors gave to their children.
"What's your name?" he asked. The other boy didn't look that much younger than himself. "What're you doing?" he added, curiously. "Want to play a game or hang out?" He took another sip of his iced coffee.
