At least, with the theme song, we won't encounter it much. It'll either be an opening song or ending song, either way, we'll only hear it once. And anyway, it's not a bad song, really. Not great, but eh. Oh well.
I'm SO STOKED about the music, though. I love the music in Dexter and I love what I've heard from Licht for Downpour so far. It's awesome. I think they're going to go interesting places with this game.
The only thing I hope is that it's different from Homecoming. I love everything about Homecoming except for the gameplay. It was annoying as hell and the difficulty was unreasonable. The battle system in Shattered Memories was better than Homecoming. Yeah, because there WASN'T one in SM XDDD
The graphics and design are beautiful! I really can't wait biggrin

The song is good and for a trailer I admit it is pretty cool and it is erie. Just not the complete Silent Hill erie feel it feels like a more upbeat action horror feel compared to Silent Hill's calm and disturbing horror feel and past themes. Well like you said atleast it will only get encountered in the opening and credits. If it does somewhere appear in the game though which I highly doubt I hope it will be a slowed down instrumental. None the less the song and the trailer certaintly get you pumped for Downpour even more now!!! biggrin

I agree with many MANY of these reactions! I am extremely amped up to play this new entry, and I will be even more excited to start peeling away layers and layers of visuals to find the enriched history, deep meanings, and all that good stuff in between! Ladies and gentlemen, expect to hear good theories from me after this!
