Lynd truly doubted that whomever had done the dstardly deed was still lurking around nearby..surely they would be to worried about being found out and caught. Odd were they had hightailed it away long before the Weyrwomens body had even been found, unless of course some of the people in the room were right and the killer was someone related to Benden, then they might have stuck around as going missing would have drawn more attention. Maybe that blasted old ancientcrafter had done it. She wouldn't put it past him - he was weird and everyone knew it. He'd managed to disappear practically into thin air and it wasn't to hard to believe that he could also have managed to come back, kill Kestril and disappear again - he'd been wandering about the Weyr long enough babbling about his plants to certainly know his way around.

In any case she didn't agree with not changing the patrol patterns or at least randomizing them somewhat, sure it might leave gaps but obviously they already had gaps or someone wouldn't have managed to slip through like they had, the problem was the killer knew the gaps and the wherhandlers had obviously grown so used to the patrols as they were that they didn't. But no matter..she had voiced her concern and really she didn't expect to spend her entire life play guardwher handler anyways. She like Alianar intended to head into the mines once they had finished training. In the meantime of course she would help out however she could and although slightly annoyed that her suggestion had been shrugged off she cast Alianar a quick smile in return to his and let it go. They were older..she hadn't really expected them to listen to her in the first place anyways.
