☥ Guild rules ☥

Gaia rules take precedence, but these are some additional guidelines we have for us specifically.

SpaceImportant rules

arrow Cybering is absolutely forbidden. Interdit. Verbotten. 禁止される. That includes requesting or encouraging/suggesting/advising cybering. Doing any of this = insta-ban. No questions asked. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. (Of course, appeals are always possible.)

arrow Posting RP posts, images, stories, comments, whatever that is above the PG-13 limit is absolutely forbidden. Another insta-ban, without warning or discussion. (Of course, appeals are always possible.)

arrow Any violation of any of Gaia's rules and guidelines is absolutely forbidden. Another insta-ban, without warning or discussion. (Of course, appeals are always possible.)

arrow If you violate any of Gaia's rules, or our guild rules, you will get a warning. That warning lasts for three months. If you get two warnings, you will be banned.

arrow If you have any complaints about a crew member or think you have been warned or banned unfairly, talk to another crew member. They will review what happened, and whatever they decide is final.

SpaceGeneral rules

arrow Don't make duplicate threads. Make sure there's not already a thread with the same idea as yours, and if there is, use it. Duplicate threads will be notified then deleted.

arrow If you are making a join request to join the guild, then you must put "but age is just a number" after your age in your join request form. This applies if you are making an initial request or a re-request by PM. If you don't, then we will assume you did not read the rules, and your request will be denied.

arrow You don't have to be a lesbian (or even a girl) to enjoy yuri, but it is absolutely unacceptable to write anything disparaging or hateful toward lesbians and/or lesbian lifestyle. This is a guild dedicated to literate lesbian romance, so that only makes sense.

SpaceLiteracy rules

arrow This is a literate guild! Full sentences and fairly good spelling and grammar are required. No AOL or text-message talk.

arrow Literacy isn't just about spelling and grammar, it's about consideration and respect for your fellow roleplayers. If you are going to have to leave a thread for a while, inform the thread - even better, make a post that puts you somewhere else until you return. If you consistently lock up RPs by simply disappearing without notice or warning, you will be warned. If it persists, you will be banned.

arrow If you make a roleplay, do not mark it as accepting requests unless you are actually accepting requests. If you have decided not to run the roleplay, stop accepting requests, and mark the RP as dead. Do not mark an RP as open until it is actually open. If you consistently start RPs, then leave people hanging, you will be warned. If it persists, you will be banned.

arrow Literacy is about quality and not just quantity. As in art, the saying "less is more" can apply to a roleplay post. There are times when a wall of text is reasonable and pleasant, and times when it is neither.

SpaceActivity rules

arrow We have a unique activity policy in this guild. Every member is required to be part of an active roleplay. Every few months, we ask all the owners of active roleplays to give us a list of people who were active in their roleplay - then we take all those lists, and give everyone else who is not on those lists a warning for being inactive.

arrow If you are not a big roleplayer, there are other ways you can contribute besides joining a roleplay... but you will have to show us a significant contribution to the guild's activity, not just a few posts every couple of weeks. (We have a number of other ways you can be active, including a game in development, novels being written in the guild, and more.)

SpaceSoliciting

arrow It is not ok to say "take it to PMs." It is also not ok to ask people if they'd like to do something non-PG-13 safe somewhere else (that includes PMs, IMs, other forums, anything).

arrow Let me say that again, clearly. It is not ok to say in your RP: "Keep it PG-13 here. If you want to take it further, take it to PMs." That is not allowed. It even says so right in Gaia's rules.
