I love suger gliders, but sadly they are illagal in Pennsylvania now. I name all my pets names from my favorite anime/manga. I have a cat named kikyo a hermit crab named Hatori and another crab named Sango. There are also random names I like.

Katsuya
Masuto
Mikita
Motoshi
Girls:
Keiko
Kumiko
Takana

Just kidding. I'm kind of with ^, as favored Anime characters have a habit of having pretty cool names, but another thing you could try is to get a really good English-Japanese dictionary, pick a number of English words you like, find out what they are in Japanese, and then use the one you like best. biggrin

I'd dare say name it Tobi. It means flying. Its nice and short. If its a mesu(female) add a ko to the end.
I have a koi in my fishtank I call obake, since it's white. (S)he's about 5" inches long. (how do you determine the gender of a koi?)
My cat is named Meiko. Some people think I got the name from the racoon in pocohantas, but I know better. biggrin
