Two days ago, the chain missed a gear and the pedal shifted forward faster than usual. I fell off the bike and received for my efforts a hairline fracture in my index and middle fingers on my left hand above the knuckles. They gave me vicodin, it helps with the pain somewhat...
So you basically can't use that hand for a while, right? I'm left handed so that would seriously suck for me. Fortunately most of the bad stuff that happens to me only affects my right hand.
I feel much better now... Almost as if I had never been hit by that car... Almost. I went back to work Friday and had little problems aside from feeling tired halfway through the day. I go back to workouts tomorrow as well, so that will be the real test. I just hope I don't break myself trying to keep up with the other guys.
