Weaving through the trees that encloses a large lush meadow that is sandwiched between the mountains, a dark blue mare is taking her sweet time getting back to that meadow from a morning of exploring. The birds decided to decorate Frosta's mane and tail with wildflowers of different colors while she passes them by in the forest. The mare laughs at the small creatures' antics in the near distance as she feels like she is in the paradise right now because the animals are enjoying themselves around her and the weather is just perfect with a little 'reward'; the rainbow is streaking across the skies, almost right above the meadow she claimed as her own home.
Frosta flicks her tail as she lowers her head to graze the grass, slowly moving her way to the center. Occasionally, she will stop when she almost 'grazed' over the covered openings of small dens in the grounds that is made by any under-ground living creatures and sidesteps that area then resumes grazing once again. With every flick of her tail, a flower head 'pops' out and floats to the ground.

"You really should find yourself a nice home and perhaps a decent mare for a mate. You're not getting any younger you know. " Ceylon let the wind carry her just above the red stallion's head. Delano couldn't help but laugh at his friend. "I'm not old either Ceyl. I'm find one when I am good and ready to. " He stuck his tongue out at her. She had been his companion since he was a foal. She was his best friend, his confidant.
They had been traveling for, well, some time now. Pretty much ever since Delano had become a young stallion, leaving his foal-hood behind him.
Ceylon chuckled and swooped over his head, playfully pecking at his mane, before perching herself on his back. "Haven't you had enough of roaming and wandering yet my dear boy? It'd be nice to have a place to call home and perhaps some little foals of your own you know. " "Hey what do I look like Missy? Your own personal perch or something? " He grinned and gave a playful buck, not enough to unseat her though. She often rode perched on his back in reality, but he loved to tease her. He tilted his head thoughtfully. "Yes perhaps maybe some day but thats not today is it?" He grinned some more and took off in a gallop down the forest path.
But he had not been expecting the sight before him as they came into a clearing ahead. He hadn't noticed the frosty blue mare yet on the other side of the meadow. Instead his eyes were glued to the rainbow streaking the meadow overhead. It was a beautiful sight to behold, almost like an omen. All he could do was stare at it blissfully

Frosta's ears twitches as she hears faint voices that is getting closer and she remained relaxed because the birds didn't take off or suddenly go still if there is danger around so she proceeds in grazing more. The flash of red caught her eyes from other side of the meadow and she looks up to see a large stallion staring up at the rainbow she was admiring earlier. She couldn't help but to admire the stallion's appearance and the visible strength because she's still a breathing and live female.
Noticing that the stallion wasn't alone because she could see a fleeing feather here and there behind the stallion's back and Frosta smiles in amusement, finally figuring out the owners of those friendly yet playful voices she heard. "The rainbow is a rare treat is it, sir?" She calls out to the stallion and his friend. The mare moves toward them with a pleasant smile gracing her face then she looks up at the rainbow. "Have you even seen a double rainbow before?" She conversationally inquires.

The sudden melody of a female voice rang clearly in his ears and he turned his head quickly to see whom was speaking to him. But the stallion had not expected for it to be another of his own kin, a unicorn mare. Here...alone? His eyes ran over her, taking in every detail of her frosted blue body. "I am sorry if we intrude my lady. My friend here and I were simply passing through." He bowed his head to her.
Ceylon took flight and hovered over closer to the unknown mare. "Well hello there dear. You'll have to mind his manners, he's not quite used to speaking with lovely maidens such as yourself."
Delano shot ceylon a glare. Oh how she loved to mock him to make her point. He knew already what she was up to and plotting. "Pay no mind to her, the poor dear has been losing her mind with age you see. " His eyes flickered at Ceylon, warning her playfully.
"Indeed it is a rare treat my lady. But it does not compare to the beauty of yourself and this lovely meadow."
Ceylon chuckled at Delano. "Yes and apparantly it looks he hasn't learned how to properly compliment or court a lady without looking like a fool has he?" She glided much closer to the mare now, taking a good look at her. She was a fine mare indeed. The kind that the stubborn red stallion shouldn't pass up a chance with. At least in her opinion anyways.
Delano shot Ceylon another glare. "No I have not had the pleasure of such a sight, so this is a first for me. Yourself?" He tilted his head in inquiry, smiling softly at the mare, his crimson eyes glittering in the sun's rays.

Frosta was going to open her mouth to tell the red stallion that they are more than welcome to stay when a very amusing exchange happened between the stallion and sairys happened. Corners of her mouth twitches as the mare fought back a laughter and her eyes dances with merriment at the stallion and his friend. She couldn't help but to blush at the compliments they were tossing out at her and she finally laughed, losing that battle with her self-restraint. "Why thank you, dear." She would chime in in a playful voice after the stallion says that the rainbow's beauty doesn't compare with her beauty and this meadow as well.
The mare grins at the sairys, knowing that she probably exists to keep that stallion on tip of his hooves and Frosta have a feeling that she would definitely enjoy watching their future conversations. "Court a lady?" She laughs as she shakes her head. "But, my dear sairys, we just met!" She giggles while she stole a glance up toward the rainbow with a happy little sigh. "Mmm..I haven't seen a double rainbow but I have heard that if double rainbows appears over you, you will have a very long streak of good luck in love or something else." She tries to look serious but her eyes dances with playful mischief. "Oh! I forgot my manners." She frowns little bit at herself.
"I am Frosta. And you are more than welcome to stay here as long as you want. You too." She nods to Ceylon. "In fact, please do stay. I find your conversations very enjoyable." She grins at them both as she flicks her tail, sending another flower floating to the ground.

The mare's voice and laughter struck his ears like a melody. And such a sweet melody it was! He paused a moment, looking at the mare, then looking at Ceylon. He knew she was eatting this up, considering the conversation they just had about not finding a mare today..and Now here she was before him and he was acting like an enamored young colt.
Ceylon was indeed enjoying every moment of this. She loved being right and even moreso than that, she loved teasing and taunting the red stallion about it. "Oh I know, but you know what they say about love at first sight. " she hovered closer to the mare and whispered in her ear so Delano could not hear her, "And I think he likes you. He's usually very collected and calm, but you make him nervous in a good way. I can see it."
Delano stared at Ceylon and his face blushed a deeper red than his coat at her initial comments. He didn't know what she was whispering but he knew what she was up to. That darn bird! She was the bane of his existance. "Interesting. I've not heard that before. I suppose we'll see shall we? Since we've both seen it, we should soon find out if it ares any truth I imagine."
And then he realized how that sounded. "Not that I think you're interested or anything...For all I know you have a handsome, strong mate heh." And he had jsut stuck a hoof in his mouth. Why did she make him feel like this?
Ceylon grinned with a knowing look. "You see? " was all she said to the mare. "Perhaps this wasn't jsut a chance meeting my two lovelies...maybe this was meant to be and the rainbow is trying to tell you that." She tired of hovering and perched herself on a nearby rock formation, watching the two azrein.
Delano felt so embarassed. He figured he must look like quite the fool between what Ceylon was saying and how he was acting He gulped quickly and stared at Ceylon. "How would you know Ceyl? You're not an expert in such matters you know. Besides, a mare like her likely has a mate already." He turned to the mare as she introduced herself. " My name is Delano, its a pleasure to meet you my lady Frosta." He blushed a bit once more as she offered, then requested for them to stay in her meadow. "Well I guess we have traveled for so long, It might be nice to stay around somewhere for a bit."
Ceylon gave a pleased smile. So they were staying. "I'm no expert no, but anyone can clearly see how much you like her, even if you deny it to yourself Delano. " And with that being said she decided to go eat some berries and give the two some time alone.

Frosta's eyes widens at Ceylon's comments as her dark blue cheeks became more darker with a blush, not sure what to say to either the stallion or Ceylon's comments. She peeks at Ceylon curiously while a thoughtful expression flickers through her eyes because the feeling is mutual between her and the stallion standing in front of her. "Mm... and I like him too." She softly admits to Ceylon as the blush spreads more around her face.
The mare shot Delano an 'oh really?' look as she laughs because she thinks that Delano's fumbling around with the words is downright adorable and makes him look even more endearing. "We shall find out soon if its any truth in it, my dear." She couldn't resist purring the words out at Delano to see what the stallion would do. "I am single, actually." She smiles up at him, feeling this warmth starting to grow inside her heart and spread all over her body. She presses her tongue against her teeth against a close-lipped gentle smile, trying not to blush too much in the presence of Ceylon and Delano. "Maybe so." She softly says as she didn't take her eyes off Delano because she is swearing up and down that this is just a wonderful dream that feels so real.
"Its my pleasure, Delano." Frosta beams at the stallion as she feels like someone could cook something on her face because she is burning up like there is no tomorrow due to the insane amount of blushing she is doing in the past five minutes. She chuckles at Ceylon as she shakes her head. "She's a cheeky one, is she?" She inquires with her voice rich in amusement. "But yes, please do stay for as long as you like, Delano." She gives him a light nuzzle across the cheek in friendly manner.

Delano watched Frosta's face deepen to a purple shade against her blue cheeks. The way she blushed was rather lovely really and interesting. He had never seen one go purple but then...blue coat and red blush...it made sense to him. He saw her whisper to Ceylon, but the words escaped his ears.
But the words that she did speak loud enough for him to hear caused him to blush lightly, once more and sent a shiver down his spine. "Indeed we shall my lady. " Her next words were like music to his ears. Single. So she didn't have a mate? He could not help but grin and smile warmly at her. He could not deny it. Ceylon was right as much as he hated to admit it. He did favor this mare. Never had he ever met a mare quite like her.
He looked around the meadow. Wildflowers grew everywhere. It was a stunning sight, as if she had touched every part of the meadow and gave it life. "You have a lovely home. Its so...beautiful...the sight is breath taking really." He moved closer now, feeling more comfortable with her and sensing she was comfortable with his presence as well.
He sighed at Ceylon but did not repy to her comments. Instead he watched as Ceylon floated off on the wind, going to find herself some berries. "Yes she can be, She speaks her mind that one, although sometimes I think she just likes to torture me. " He laughed softly. "You'd laugh if you heard the conversation we had before we found your meadow and yourself. She has been bugging me for months about finding a mare and settling down. You'll have to excuse her. She means well...just can but a little pushy." He winked at Frosta, and his heart skipped a beat. He half hoped she liked him as much as he seemed to like her.
It was then she nuzzled him softly... was he dreaming or did she just do that? He couldn;t help but blush deeper red once more, but he found himself returning the nuzzle as if it was the natural thing to do.

Frosta's heart did a little stutter as Delano's muzzle stretches out into a warm smile which made him look even more handsome, her eyes involuntarily fluttered closed for a second while she takes in a deep breath. "I look forward to finding the answer with you, Delano." She softly says as she blushes once more. She never imagined herself blushing so much like a filly with the first crush.
The mare follows Delano's eyes as she smiles to herself at the compliment and her warm gaze returns to Delano with a happy soft sigh. "It is my little slice of paradise." She says with a friendly smile. "And I am always happy to share that paradise with anybody who is willing to let me." She laughs while she feels completely at the ease with the stallion and his companion. Frosta actually felt this small pang of regret when Ceylon floated away but amusement replaced that regret when a small group of birds decided to follow Ceylon around.
"It seems like you need someone to keep you on tips of your hooves." Frosta teases Delano with a laugh as her eyes dances with warmth and amusement. "Torturing? oh perish the thought! I don't think she have it in her to do that!" She laughed the words out, fully knowing that Ceylon probably have it in her to torture Delano. Her eyes widens little bit in surprise and unknown emotion that could be interpreted as joy. "And she deems me worthy for you, Delano?" She softly inquires as she smiles lightly with dark circles of blush gracing her cheeks.
Just as Delano nuzzles her, Frosta closes her eyes and sighs to herself. It seems like she have found a slice of heaven in the form of a really handsome red stallion. "Well.." She shifts as she smiles up at him warmly, trying to calm her stuttering heart. "Am I worthy of you?" She says with a side of her muzzle curling up in a partial shy smile.

He watched the other smaller birds following Ceylon and chuckled. "Seems she has a little flock of her own there huh?" His eyes ran over the meadow and its beauty, but it still could not compare to the frosty blue mare, and he found himself staring at her once more, taking in everything. Sight, sounds, even her scent. "Indeed it is paradise but it seems this slice of heaven has its own angel residing in it as well. " He winked at her and blushed softly. He felt so at ease around her.
Delano paused a moment. "Well..I suppose it is good to keep me on my hooves so to speak.....but does she have to enjoy it so much?" He cracked a smirk at Frosta. "Oh yes. trust me...she has it in her to torture me when she really wants to." Ceylon might have her moments where he wanted to stomp on her, but he loved her dearly. She was his best friend after all. No one had known him as long or as well as she did. He knew she cared about his happiness and strived to push him to find it.
His crimson eyes reflected his happiness and his heart beat faster. But her question stumped him a moment. "Well it certainly seems to be the case. She doesn't act like that around every mare we've met. Actually....you're the first she has insisted about like that." He was quiet a moment, thoughts racing and swirling around in his mind. When he looked at her again, his gaze met hers and then he saw it. Her eyes betrayed her, unless she was allowing it to be seen, but he could see it clearly now. Or perhaps in the moment, he was just seeing things he was hoping for.
He allowed himself to just react, following his heart. And then her question hit his ears after a moment of shared nuzzling "Indeed you are, but the real question is...Am I worthy of a mare like you? His heart skipped a beat once more. or perhaps a few as he waited, butterflies tumbling around in his belly, fearing that she would say no.

"Looks like Ceylon just started her own little flock unintentionally." Frosta laughs as she smiles in amusement at the sight of small songbirds following Ceylon around. "Does Ceylon sing?" She looks up at Delano with an impish smile as she does a little dance in her place. "Because if she does, those birds will be stuck to her forever." She laughed the words out. "That's how I got those little birds to stay here. I sing." She smiles before she blinks at his flattery then she blushed madly. "Angel?" She looks at him then she laughs while nuzzling him. "But I don't have wings, my love" She teases him.
Tilting her head to side, Frosta pretends to think about his question of Ceylon having to enjoy it so much and a mischievous yet playful smile split her face in half. "Yes. But I would think I will be taking that job from her now." She quipped as she couldn't keep the laughter contained so she just let it out, filling the air with her care-free and joyous laughter. The female dances around Delano, feeling like she could just be silly and goofy mare around him because he makes her feel at the ease.
Her soft blue eyes widens at his statement and she swore her heart actually stopped beating for few seconds after stuttering beats. "I feel quite honored that she deemed me worthy to be in your presence." She softly says and she swears that she is going to have those dark purple circles on her cheeks forever because she couldn't stop blushing in Delano's presence. Her eyelashes flutters little bit as she smiles gently at the stallion but when the question he asked reached to her ears, her eyes flew up toward his eyes in surprised manner.
Her heart skipped beats as she presses her tongue against her teeth while she tries not to allow herself stutter or act foolish so she remained silent for few seconds while she stared at him with wide wondering eyes. Frosta's muzzle quirked up in a gentle smile as she nuzzles him across his muzzle while saying softly, "But of course. You are worthy. Any mare who snags you as a mate would be a very lucky mare ever to walk the earth."
