Setting: The glowing blue grayish male stood in a barren forest area. Looking up at the sky. The sun was in its normal place but the sky was oddly colored. Never had he seen something like this nor had he heard. He suspected that something was coming but what it was he didn't know.

Lucifer lounged in a tree branch, wondering why the sky was such an odd color. He shrugged, mostly unconcerned. Besides, the sky matched his coat...in a way. Yawning, he stretched on his branch before he heard a small rustling below him. Hmmm interesting. A brightly glowing fox was wandering around beneath him. Chuckling to himself, Lucifer slipped off his branch and landed in front of the other male.
"Well, hello there? And what are you doing in my territory?" He purred. Not that this was his territory, he was merely playing to the scenery and having a good old time doing it too.

Terry's ears twitched at a sound. Unsure of what it was he paused and looked around. Forgetting to look up and not finding anything out of the ordinary besides the color of the sky. Shrugging it off he was about to continue on when something plopped down in front of him. It was another male that was black and had interesting markings on him.
"Mmm Hello." he said letting his eyes scan over the new male. "Your territory huh? Most have missed the signs. You should post them better though I am just passing threw. Nothing all that fancy."

"Missed the signs? The sky is a creeepy color, the trees are bare of all life. What other fox could rule such a territory?" Lucifer said in easy nonchalance. Games of this sort always came easily to him. Lucifer sat, making sure the light hit his fur in the perfect way to make his marking look like they were moving flames.
"Besides that, the 'I'm just passing though' excuse isn't a good deterent, you know. You could run into a fox that doesn't want you there for whatever reason and chase you off...if you're fast enough. Observence is key, glowstick."

Terry shrugged not really caring that the sky was different colors. "So really odd colored sky, dead trees and that automatically makes it your territory? And we are all just suppose to know this on instinct huh?" He waited a moment before chuckling at the bull crap that the other fox had said. "If it was just that way than no one would run into any trouble but life is just not that way."
"Than you either run or fight if you get into a conflict though I am confident I could out run just about anyone coming from a family of runners has its benefits Mr. Swirl."
