The morning rays of sunlight peaked through the soft blue curtains as a light breeze began to make them dance. A dark purple figure could be seen in the kitchen, humming as it creating it's master piece. It was Momma Angelique. She was making breakfast for her family of four since one of her children had moved on with another being. Her tail flickered back and forth as she made blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast with jam, and some fruit to go on the side. She smiled as her son, Sovasu, fluttered down from his room into the kitchen. Rubbing his tired eyes, he sat down at the table then yawned loudly. "Morning, Momma." He said with a purr as well. His long claws danced on the table top as he waited for the rest of his family.

The tired yoshi had began to stir from his sleep, having not gotten enough. He had been up all night in his workshop at home filling orders and trying to make Angelique a few little things for their home. As the light filtered through the curtains of their bedroom he groaned in protest and turned over the other way to try and get more sleep, only to catch the light reflecting off the mirror in his eyes. Admitting defeat the still tired yoshi sits up and yawns.
Having already been up and in her little garden that she planted in the back yard, full of vegetables and herbs for her mother's kitchen, the dark kitten like yoshi carried in a bundle of goodies. Tomatoes and random herbs making up the bulk of what she had to offer her momma. Bright and cheery as she sets the goodies on the counter she chimes "Good morning Momma~" Spying her brother in whom she didn't seem to get along with much she nods to him. "Sovasu.."

Angelique spins around to see her little bundle of joy, Sebastien. "Bonjour Seb! Oh you brought momma seasonings? You are so thoughtful, oui-oui!" She said in a sing song voice then gave her daughter an embracing hug. Her wings fluttered as she turned back towards the homemade breakfast. " Sovasu, be a dear and mince the onions please." Asking as she noticed that he looked left out from the bonding.
Sovasu's ears perked up as his mother asked a task of him. " Oui momma!" He said happily as his wings fluttered. He rose to his feet, trotting into the kitchen to put on an apron. He learned a few techniques from her while he was a little kit. Angelique babied her little boy, but he was proud to be his mother's son. His tail swished back and forth as he bobbed his head to a song on his mind. He was into the gothic industrial bands such as, Tumor and many others. His variety of music was wide, but that was his favorite genre.

Kimun blinked his eyes as he gave a great big yawn once more, dreading being up already knowing he'd have another late night at his main shop. As the poor yoshi tired to get himself out of bed with no will to do so, the wondrous smells of breakfast came wafting towards him. Smiling to himself, strength renewed from the want to feast on his love's cooking, he slipped off the side of the bed and down the stairs. "Good morning family."
The kitten gave a small laugh at her mother's ever bubbly disposition. happily she hugged her mother back in return, tail flicking back and forth. "Breakfast smells magnifique~" Not having been able to pick up easily on speaking French Sebastien at least tried to use bits and pieces she could remember, still wanting lessons from her momma. As Sovasu began to work in the kitchen she felt the need to compete with him. "Momma.. Is there anything I can help with?" she turned her head as Kimun greeted them, chiming happily in return. "Bonjour Papa~"

Angelique turned to see her love come down the stairs. She began to purr up a storm as she finished the omelet she had made for her hard working lifemate, Kimun. Her eyes lit up at his presence. She was always happy and full of energy when he was in the room. "Bonjour Mon Amie! You sleep well, oui?" Asking as she set up her love's breakfast onto the table then fluttered over to him for a little nuzzle then a kiss on the cheek. "Blueberry, strawberry, or peach jam Mon Amie?" Asking as she moved over to the fridge. She was asking about the jams she made from the fruits in the garden. Her ears perked up at Sebastien's voice, " Can you get some apples or Oranges from the back? I'd love to have some for breakfast today, Sebby." She said happily as she gave her a nuzzle on the cheek.
Sovasu finished mincing the onions for the scrambled eggs. He enjoyed the various seasonings and add-ins for his food. His tail wagged as the scent tickled his nose. "Smells wonderful, Momma!" He said happily then noticed his father come down the stairs. "Pappa! Would you like some coffee or tea?" He asked as he set the news paper onto the table next to the breakfast that was laid out. His ears twitched at the sound of the toast popping. He set it onto the plate then waited to hear what jam his father wanted today.

Lighting up at her greeting, Kimun padded over to her and wrap his arms around her and placed a gently kiss on her cheek. "Ah.. I wish I could say I'm rested, but I'm still quite tired. though the smell of your cooking couldn't keep this man in bed." With a chuckle the yoshi took his place at the table and smiled down at the omelet, then closed his eyes and breathed in the smell rising from it. "Hmm? Oh.. surprise me my love." The yoshi smiled to his children. "Good morning you two, Sovasu, Sebastien."Giving a happy chuckle he replied as he picked up the news paper "Coffee please, Sovasu. Regular, black, and a bit of sugar."
Sebastien now feeling a bit out of place in the kitchen she nodded to her mother. "Oui Momma." Smiling slightly at the affections from her mother, returning them with her own nuzzle before heading out back to pick the fruit for their breakfast.

"Mon Amie!" Angelique giggled as he planted a kiss on her cheek. Her wings fluttered as she pulled out some grape jelly. Setting it next to the plate with a smile. "Grape this time, Kimun!" She said with a wide smile as she returned to her cooking. "You can nap with me before work, oui?" Asking as she felt worried that his lack of sleep could get him hurt.
Sovasu nodded as he spread some jam onto his father's toast as he waited for the coffee to finish brewing. His tail wagged as he poured a cup, adding some sugar. He set it down with care, handing a spoon for stirring. "Here you go, Pappa!" He said with a smile as he took a seat next to him. He watched as his beautiful mother was making his own plate of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages, and bacon. He saw his hot cup of tea on the table. He poured some honey and sugar to sweeten it up. Taking a sip he gave a sigh of happiness. "Merci, Momma!"

Katinka's ears twitched at the voices from down the halls. Was it morning so soon? At first she remained content with simply staying in bed, but the smells of breakfast became to intoxicating to ignore. With a cat-like yawn, she stood and meandered down to the kitchen where the rest of her family was getting breakfast ready.
"Bonjour ma famille," she said with a yawn before looking about.

Smiling, Kimun gave a nod to his little love. "Ah yes. One can never go wrong with grape." The yoshi blinked at his son as he was still not so entirely use to being.. well waited on. "Thank you Sovasu." Kimun couldn't help but yawn at the mention of a nap. "Yes... I suppose this tired yoshi could attempt one such thing." Turning as his ears picked up on the voice of the other kitten from their little, he smiled to her. "Good morning Katinka. Did you sleep well?"
Mumbling to herself as she picks the fruits for her momma, now having an armful of them. "Sovasu.. " the yoshi like kitten grumbled to herself. ... "I should plant a flower garden back here.. I think I will..." With the shake of her head, Sebastien headed back into the house to give her mother the fruits. Spotting her sister as she enters the kitchen she chimes out excitedly to her. "Bonjour Katinka~"

Sovasu smiled then gave his papa a nuzzle on the ear. "Your welcome, Papa." He said as he set the coffee pot onto the table before pouring himself a cup of his mama's freshly squizzed orange juice. His tail wagged as his youngest sister came down the stairs. He waved to her before putting away anything his mother didn't need out for breakfast. He finished setting up the table before sitting next to his papa. "Do you think it would be alright if I could work with you one day in the shop?" He asked as he looked at him with his golden eyes.
Angelique giggled before she finished the last of the omelettes and waffles. "Maybe I can take a nap with you since you look sad in your sleep, no?" She said with a purr, noticing her final kit coming down the stairs. she scooped her up into her arms then gave her a kiss on the head. "Bonjour mon petite Katinka." She said happily as she waited for Sebastien to get into the house. "Sebby, can you be a dear and help mama with the rest of the breakfast?"
