Now, I'm not contradicting Odalisque, but I read her latest announcement about writing spoilers in white text and thought that maybe we should have a thread devoted to information that you found out that you think may be a spoiler. This way, it will be easier to write and read. Plus, then you can say things that can't normally say without writing in white.
P.S. if you don't like this, Odalisque, tell me and I'll delete it, if I can

If they didn't get that you shouldn't click a big link that says "SPOILERS!!!!"if you're behind the American episodes, then they deserve to have the entire plot ruined for them. Because they are stupid. :/ that's not very nice, come on now. If you read the announcement, us mods have made a rule saying all spoilers are to be posted in white. It's about respecting everyone.

But if it's an ENTIRE forum dedicated to spoilers, common says there are spoilers and, therefore, they shouldn't have to be in white. The whole 'white spoilers' deal is for posting in unmarked boards, where people could randomly stumble upon them and read the spoilers if they aren't in white. Entering a 'Spoiler' thread when you're at the risk of not knowing about the spoilers is like highlighting the white text in the same situation: It's your fault if it's ruined for you.

It just seems fair that any spoiler should be white-texted. A majority of these people are smart enough to know that if it's white-texted, you shouldn't read it. And, you're forgetting that some people accidently click wrong links and could unintentionally see a spoiler. well...I'm not trying to cause problems...I'm just saying that since the thread says in all caps that this has spoilers and that you shouldn't enter if you don't want to see them, then that should mean that it'll just be a pointless waste of time because nobody in here is gonna enter to see nonspoilers sweatdrop
and about what Ramia said, if you accidentally click the wrong thread, it wouldn't really matter because you can't see any of the posts until you scroll down because of the poll...so it's not gonna really affect anyone neutral

This forum isn't based on spoilers for House last time I checked. I mean don't get me wrong, but I swear it here for the fans to discuss characters and what not.
I think the white text rule is completely fair. It's like you want to go see this amazing movie only to have someone blurt out the ending at the beginning of a movie. It's just a matter of highlighting your text and selecting the white option. No biggie.
I think if you want a real in-depth conversation about what happened and not spoil it for others, maybe take it to the entertainment discussion or something.
Sort of a lose/lose situation thing here. But, it's all good if we throw in white text for safe measure.

and I don't mind the white text thing either...I just thought it would be easier and more convenient to have a thread where you wouldn't NEED to white text
