[READ THIS] Alright, to open today's round, a message from the GM. First, sorry for all these delays in rounds being posted. It's kinda hard to write when you are glued to the space in front of the toilet. In totally related news, stomach flu has a prerequisite of knee pads, apparently. I have indents in my linoleum bathroom floor. Second thing, I have to execute a player today for three absences in a row. Third, only a few of you are even playing, and that makes me a sad GM, especially when nobody who has been given the role of Sniper has ever PM'd me, ever, which screws up the game, and screws over the Overseer, which screws over everyone. I'm gonna re-roll Sniper again if I don't get a PM by Day Five, and after that, if nobody responds, the Sniper role is gone, and the Player Character becomes the new Sniper, unless you lot take issue with that. Please contact me with any notes or concerns you may have. As a popular psychopathic A.I. once said, "Thank you for helping us help you help us all." We now return to the (ir)regularly scheduled Sniper Game. ________ As the post-Christmas depression set into the Vault, there were fights. There were thefts. There was much anger. The Guards hurried and scurried, doing what they could, always with one too many fires to put out, literally. The Overseer boomed and decried, but to no avail. The Player Character lent a helping hand, but even then, there was just too much going wrong. Radroaches began to scurry through the Vault, damaging property and people alike, leaving poor Kirashimu without help as the Radroaches caught him off his guard, skittering through a hole under the Jukebox he was repairing. . The mob that was rushing to string up Kira was too late, either to save them, or to savor their passing. Naught but bones and teeth were left when they arrived. The Jukebox never did work quite right, but the silence was a weight nobody could shrug off. That was the day the music died, in Vault 47. Eventually, once the fires died and the problems were put out, there was a short memorial service held for Kira, right before they dumped his bones into a shoebox and pitched it into the Brig. ________ In all of the chaos and violence that occurred, nobody had paid heed to the Sniper's presence, nor did they notice the lack thereof. What exactly was the Sniper even doing? one may wonder. Well, wonder no more, as the Sniper was busily grinding away in Haven of Handicraft, and old computer game from before the war, that some intrepid Vaulter had brought in with them. However, without Guilds, the game was rather lifeless, much like the Sniper now was, with orange snack dust settling neatly onto every surface in their room, even covering their guns, now laid out and uncared for. An unsettling sight to behold, indeed. ________ #015, Kirashimu, has been Radroach'd! #XXX, Sniper, has been WoW'd! ________ Alright, get your votes and role PM's (I'm looking at you, Sniper!) to me by Tuesday Midnight, and if I'm not kneeling before my toilet, things will happen!
