Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming

Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming;
The goddess of imaginary light.
Ayame had left Karakura Town, mainly becuase she had become upset. The boy she had been fighting reminde her so much of her deceased husband, it wasn't even funny. She spent about ten minutes pacing before sitting down and letting out a sigh. Ayame couldn't stop thinking about the fight. In anger she slammed her fist down on the desk in frustration, "DAMMIT!!!"
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me [/

The walk from the court was very pleasant. The breeze was very accommodating for the laid-back captain as he proceeded to Captain Kuchiki's office. Madarao wasn't usually fond of visiting the young lady. It wasn't that she was a terror or anything, but he felt a little awkward in her presence. It wasn't fear nor anything close of the sort. It always seemed as though something was troubling her. When the Captain of Division 10 stepped into the room, a raucous outburst rang out. "Uh... you okay in there, Ayame? I can always come back later. If my workload decreased, anyway," Madarao said softly. Concern was present in his tone, but it was drowned out by his lazy demeanor.

straightened herself ujp and sighed,
Hearing someone outside her door, Ayame quickly straightened herself up, "Come on in Sugiura." What she hadn't realized was that in her rage, her husbands photo had slid across the floor near the door. On her desk was her husbands wedding ring.

Upon recognition, Madarao stepped cautiously into the Captain's office. It hadn't appeared to be a war zone, so that was definitely a plus. Looking at the floor, he noticed the picture frame facing downward and swiftly scooped it up. "I believe this belongs to you." At first glance, the photograph didn't really hold his attention. This was primarily because he'd seen the picture before and none of its details changed over the course of time. His monotonous tone returned as he resumed speaking. "I hope I'm not intruding on your personal time. I was just curious as to whether you were aware of any of the happenings that seems to be taking place in the world of the living."
Not long after posing his inquiry, a shinigami came into the room and mentioned something about a meeting. "We'll be there momentarily. Thank you for message," the Head of Squad 10 bowed to the messenger before facing his fellow captain. Extending his arm, he smirked lazily and droned, "If you don't mind. I thought I would be a gentleman and escort you to the meeting. Only... if you are interested in such a thing." There was no real ulterior motive, he just wished to have company along the way to something he strongly believed had to do with the recent disturbances. Though when he looked up, Ayame was nowhere in sight. "Ah, my offer wasn't that damn bad, was it? Oh well, I guess I'll be going solo to this meeting." Dropping his arm, Madarao strolled out of the office quietly.

After the meeting, Ayame once again returned to the confines of her office. She had taped the conersations at the meeting, since she couldn't read the notes, and set the tape player on her desk. She was afraid that another war was about to break out and that many human lives could be lost. As she thought though, her mind turned to Sugiura. He kind of reminded her of her late husband.
