Sesshomaru sent the woman away after Rini said her food was fine, and adressed her question, all the while cutting his steak.
"Let them think what they'll think. I am not concerned with the minds of humans." He said. Rini could of taken offense to that, but he didn't mean any from it. Quite the contrary, Rini was one of the very few humans he tolerated, maybe even was FOND of. Who knew with him. He was weird.
He stuck a good chunk of meat into his mouth and all too finely and calmly chewed it. Most would think of a demon eating to be some barbaric, mindless show of gluttony, but Sesshomaru wasn't even close. In fact, he looked impartal to the fact he was eating. It was more like something for him to do when speaking with his companion for the night, not like an obligation to stay alive.

"Yeah, I guess." She said after he stated what he thought. It wasn't really the answer she was looking, or maybe even hoping, for but she couldn't help but ask. She didn't continue to bother with the subject. It didn't seem worth discussing after his thoughts on it.
After that, Rini ate in silence, thinking to herself about Sesshomaru. Who was she kidding, anyway? She probably wasn't what he wanted in a girl. He probably wanted someone stronger, maybe even bolder. Or what if he even liked one of those girls Kirika or Mirelle?
Later into the meal when everything was almost gone from her plate, she picked up her glass of wine and took a good mouthful. Her mind was made up about what she was going to do.
Taking a breath, she finally spoke, "Sesshomaru, have you even noticed? I've had feelings for you for a while now!"
Blinking at what she had just blurted out, she suddenly stood without looking at him from her seat and walked toward the exit.
What had she done?!

Sesshomaru hadn't seemed to mind the silence that had started after his last comment, and every here and there he would make a remark to Rini. And with how troubled she looked, he figured his voice could sooth her.. It was so beautiful afterall. But it would have to wait untill he had finished chewing his peice of steak.
He wouldn't get to speak up though, for Rini had suddenly blurted something out and stormed out of the restront. Sesshomaru's eyes looked up to where she had previously sat, watching her stand and walk away, and his jaw immediately stopped in the chewing process it was mid way threw.
"I've had feelings for you for a while now!"
He swallowed, and then whiped his mouth with a napkin.. That was puzzling.. After noticing, the waitress walked up and looked down at Sesshomaru, frowning.
"Is everything alright? Why'd your lady friend leave?" she asked, asuming he had just broken up with her or something along the likes. Sesshomaru then turned his head to her and shook his head.
"Nothing. Bring me the bill now."
This was an interesting turn of events.
