The weather had cooled off a bit allowing the pair of them to go to the park without worry of being overheated or burned by the summer sun. Kiyoshi looked down at the boy that was clinging to his hand and looking around the area. They had come here a few times in the past and it was a nice, peaceful sort of place. It was certainly one that Tatsuo enjoyed though it always took the boy a few moment of looking around before he felt brave enough to venture away from his father and out onto the play ground equipment on his own. He felt the way that he was leaning forward even now, "You can go ahead, Tatsuo, it's alright." He reassured him, giving him a gentle pat on the back to urge him forward. It seemed to be all the encouragement he needed before the boy was trotting toward the jungle gym.

Tatsuo brushed a hand over his clothing, just a simple t-shirt and jeans today, before he set to climbing up the jungle gym in a careful manner, then, once perched up on top, he looked out over the area as though surveying his domain. There wasn't a whole lot of people here today, something that pleased him since crowds always made the scaly boy nervous, and the quiet allowed him to enjoy himself. His attention then went to his father who had walked over to a nearby park bench to settle down onto it, pulling his long braid over his shoulder so that he wouldn't sit on it. He gave a bit of a smile as he watched him before leaning back so that he could hang upside off the bars like a bat... though he found himself wondering what sort of bat was colored like him, what with green hair and blue-green scales.

Upside down everything else looked that much more interesting and kinda funny he found himself thinking, once more watching his father who was watching him as well. The man was quite protective, always taking care of everyone they met like with Nani, Dinnye, and Mikael. It made him wondering idly if they might end up with any siblings one day, it was kind of something he hoped for but given their small place he'd never really outright mentioned it to him before. Still, maybe if he thought it hard enough it might come true he thought to himself with a little giggle. For now though he was content with it just being the two of them and the occasional friends... speaking of, he wondered if anyone of them were around at the moment. With this thought in mind he set to searching around in a wider area then just near to where his father was sitting to see if he spotted anyone he knew.

Beltzelel tagged after Calixte like a lost puppy. Which was a little strange, as Calixte was looking like a lost puppy himself. The tall male wasn't used to being out and about without Amberson, especially in public. But today Amberson had firmly told him he was busy, and to do something with Bells. Originally, Calixte had absolutely no problem with this. Of course, that was until Amberson had come across them training, sighed, and pushed them out the door with firm instructions to go have FUN. Blinking, the eerily similair pair had tilted their heads in unison and Ambers smiled, instructing them to go to the park. And so the best-described-as-a-creature Calixte was leading his child to the park, covered up in a black cloak that was making him really warm, but would save any shrieking from you know. Normal people. He wasn't nervous. Nope. That was hogswash, anybody who said that. Not at all. All the same, his blue hand was tight around Bells's small digits.

Beltzelel didn't really understand why Sir had thrown them out the door. Sensei had explained that they weren't being thrown out, that he just wanted them to socialise more, but that made little sense when paired with how nervous Cali-sensei was. Then again....he was really unusual looking to most people. Bells didn't think so. He thought Calixte-sensei was beautiful, from his strange, movable ears to his spiky tail and fluffy limbs. But then, he mused, glowing eyes observing those around the park, he didn't look very normal either, and children always loved their parents. He frowned suddenly, noticing exactly HOW many people there were, (Admittedly not many, but to Bells that was still too many.) and clasped Cal's hand tighter, moving closer. Cal spoke softly.

"Would you like a ride, Bells?"

Usually Bells would have disdained such an offer. He was a Blade-in-training, and they did not take rides....But he was afraid and slightly tired and Cali-sensei had really soft warm arms so he nodded. His daddy swept him up, a momentary view of clawed hands and fluffy forearms visible before they retreated under the cloak. Bells played with the fluffy purple tufts, burying his face into daddy's kimono. Calixte twitched his lips ever so slightly, then remembered he was supposed to show more expression and smiled at his son.

"Where do you want to go?"

Being in Cal's arms meant he could see a long way, because he was reaaaaaallly tall. Bells spotted a play area with equipment, and despite the fact he could see a person there, it did look fun... Clutching a little tighter he pointed to the play equipment. Calixte, noticing Bells nervousness, decided to do one of Bells favourite tricks and teleport. Well....teleport was the wrong word, but that was the easiest way to explain it. The pair shimmered out of view, then in again with a flicker as they materialised near the swings. Bells giggled lightly, sounding very much like the chiming of his nicknamesake, and swung himself down after kissing his father's mask. He pulled down Cali's hood, admonishing him before bouncing to the swings.

"Papa-sensei, you always say not to be ashamed of differences."

Calixte twitched his ears lightlyy and smiled.

Slowly pulling himself back upright Tatsuo decided to start searching the area while sitting the right way, taking in each person that was present. Nobody that he knew, sadly, having been looking first for bright orange hair as a couple of his friends had that, then looked for darker skin colors like a couple others had, and from there he was just looking for someone his height... it took some time before he spotted someone rather interesting. He was being carried along by a bigger... man? Tilting his head in a curious manner he moved across the jungle gym to get closer to them. That boy... he looked quite neat, didn't he? His pretty eyes almost looked as though they were glowing though the young boy couldn't tell if it were his imagination or not.

The one carrying him was quite interesting too, wasn't he? He tried, and failed, not to stare at him after the boy removed his hood. He knew full well that it was rude to stare but he couldn't help it, he was far different then anything or anyone that he'd ever seen in his life. Neat! As though remembering himself, as well as the manners that were for a moment lacking, he turned his gaze away from the tall, interesting man to follow the progress of the boy that was getting closer to him now that he was coming to the play area. Should he go over to him? Should he say hello? He felt himself tensing up at the idea. Doing brave things were far out of Tatsuo's comfort range... normally it was his father aided him in approaching people. Should he go over to him? Ask for help?

No, no he didn't want to bother him, not when he was sure that he could do that... provided he could drag together the much needed courage to do so. He gave a soft sound in his throat as he hopped down off the jungle gym and scooted slowly forward toward the boy with the pretty eyes. Why was this so hard...? He really didn't have an answer for that, not really, instead he just focused on putting one foot in front of the other until he got near to the swings where the other boy was playing... then he found himself falling utterly silent, starring at the other boy, struggling to greet him... and came up with nothing, not even a single word. Something that had him panicking a bit since he'd just walked all the way over here to try to strike up a conversation which this boy. Oops.

Oh man oh man these were fun. Bells wriggled a little as he pushed his bare feet against the sand, kicking himself into the air, a big grin on his face (albiet under his mask.), as he swung through the air. It was kind of like somersaults, only, well, not. It was fun though..Aw man I bet if you got high enough you could somersault off and onto the sand! That'd be amazing! Enthused with this new (and amazingly reckless) idea, Bells began to swing with renewed vigor, reaching that point where for a second you feel weightless and your stomach tickles - a sensation that any child will tell you, indeed, any adult or teenager that's not afraid to admit will tell you - is amazing.

Pushing himself higher, Beltzelel fixed his eyes on the grass, getting ready to jump - at least, until another child came into his perception. Pausing, he let the swing come to rest, dragging his feet through the sand until he stopped. He glanced back to Cal, who gave him an encouraging thumbs-up, making him giggle. Cali-sensei would never use a thumbs up. He was obviously nervous too. That was kind of nice, actually. Bells smiled, making sure to close his eyes and make them curve (because you couldn't see his mouth properly through the mask), and stuck out a hand to the other kid.

"Greetings."

Cali wandered over to the bench where Kiyoshi was sitting, and, if possible, even more awkwardly than Bells, stuck out a hand (a blue, clawed hand.)

"Greetings."

Tatsuo looked down at the hand that was stuck out at him, starring at it for a moment, deciding that this boy was quite grown up, wasn't he? This seemed to be the sort of greeting that adults used the most and yet this boy was using it, wow. He blinked, realizing he was starring a bit, and reached out to take the hand, giving it a shake. Alright, he'd come this far but now that he was here, now that he'd said hello, and now that he'd shaken hands what did he do? He rarely tried to do such things on his own, always having his Daddy as back up.

Introductions would be next he deciding, "I am Tatsuo." He said when he'd found his voice again, releasing the other boy's hand since he'd was only supposed to shake hands with him, not hold hands, "You have pretty eyes." He commented without really thinking it over. It was a case of saying the first thing that came to mind instead of thinking it over to deeply but it was the truth, the boy had the most interesting sort of eyes, ones that seemed almost to glow and he couldn't help but to find them pretty!

A short distance away, watching his son closely, Kiyoshi couldn't help but to smile. The boy was doing quite well at this, he'd worried that he might not be able to greet the other boy on his own but he was doing so quite well. He just hoped he could keep his courage up. Turning to the man that suddenly approached him, holding a hand out to him that was blue in color and baring claws. Kiyoshi gave him a smile, reaching out to take his hand, showing little fear over it, and smiled, "Hello." He greeted the man before scooting off on the bench some, "Here, feel free to sit." He invited him, if this were that boy's father it was likely best that they talk too since their children were he decided.

In a moment of surprising childishness (surprising that is, in contrast to his former formality, rather than his age), Bells giggled at the compliment, and wiggled his toes, painted with varnish in the sand. He flipped his hand over, showing it to Tatsuo. The ends were painted a delicate, almost luminescent purple that matched his eyes with uncanny accuracy. The only difference is that they neglected that slight glow of Bells' eyes, but that was a hard effect to replicate without imbuing his nails with magic (and that was far too frivolous even for the most blase of beauty parlors - Oh how Calixte had got some weird looks walking in there.)

"Papa found me some nail varnish that matches them, and it glows in the dark too!"

Bells took a moment to look Tatsuo over. He was...amazing. Like Daddy, he has unique features. Bells blinked.

"I like your scales. They're beautiful. Especially the way they catch the light when you move."

Bells could kind of see Tatsuo was feeling a little nervous - even more nervous than he was (maybe even more nervous than SENSEI, and that was a monumental achievement.), and that made him feel better.

"Do you want to play a game?"

This was accompanied by another eyes-closed-smile.

Calixte relaxed by one notch when Kiyoshi was obviously so unhesistant about his appearance. Mind you, taking in the eddies around him, he appeared to be of some magical descent, so. He sat delicately (and somewhat hesistantly) upon the bench, replying in that strange accentless voice.

"Thankyou kindly....?"
He let the sentence trail off, an obvious invitation for a name exchange.

Tatsuo heard the laugh and for a moment worried that perhaps he'd said the wrong thing to the boy... he wasn't really sure if all boys wanted compliments on how pretty their eyes were. Much to his relief thought instead of being mad the other boy showed off his pretty colored nails as well, saying that his Papa found him the nail polish he wore and that it could glow in the dark, "Neat." He murmured, wondering where someone might look for something like that. He would need to ask his Daddy later he thought to himself.

As the other boy turned the compliments around and told Tatsuo that he liked his scales and even thought them beautiful the greenette's eyes went wide and his cheeks went red. He thought that they were beautiful? Wow... he couldn't help but to be delighted by such words. His Daddy had said something like that before but it didn't count since it was his Daddy. For someone else to say it, that made him happy, "T-Thank you." He said, trying to get his blush under control but seemed to be all together failing at it.

"Play a game...? Yes, sure." He said, nodding rapidly. He wasn't sure what sort of game the other boy wanted to play but he was all for it since he was now in such a happy mood.

Kiyoshi smiled as the somewhat odd looking man sat down alongside him and he gave a smile, "You are welcome." He said before introducing himself, "I am Kiyoshi, the green haired boy there is my son Tatsuo. Is the other boy your son?" He asked, curiously as he glanced over at the pair, pleased to see that Tatsuo was getting along with him so well though something had been said to make his son blush like crazy. He would have to ask Tatsuo about it later for sure since he was so curious as to what had been said.

Cal's face broke out into a smile, a sudden change from the previous bare movements. Talking about Bells was the one time he felt the ridicolous over-emotion of this culture was acceptable. His ears perked slightly too as he looked over.

"Yes. He is my son, Beltzelel, though he generally shortens it to Bells."

Then remembering himself, he coughed, and introduced himself.

"My apologies, I am Calixte."

Bells blinked as Tatsuo turned red. He hadn't seen blushing before, as ridicolous as that sounded. Half the people in his house wore masks, and the others weren't prone to blushing.Gently he placed his fingers on the other boy's cheek, as if checking his temprature.

"Are you okay? We shouldn't play if you are sick."

Kiyoshi's gaze lifted for a moment up to looking at the other man's ears before his lips turned up into a smile. He couldn't help but to find the movements of them to be rather cute. They also seemed to remind him of a friend of his which only made him smile that much more, "Bells? How cute." He murmured, then smiled as the man quickly introduced himself as well, "It's quite alright, Calixte." He said, hoping he'd pronounced the name right.

"It's always nice to meet another parent." It was a rare thing since they seemed often to stumble across other pocky boys that were wandering around on their own, lone adventures. Seeing this boy so well protected put his heart at ease since Kiyoshi himself was way too over protective due to his own son as well as looking after two of the other boys Dinnye and Nani.

Tatuso gave a little jump as the other boy touched his cheek, even if it were only with his fingers, and then he gave a little shake of his head, "Huh? No, no. I'm not sick! A-And I want for us to play." He said, his words a little rushed as well as a little worried. He didn't want to chase off his first prospect of fun because he appeared as though he were ill... lifting his hands to his own cheeks he did his best to get his blushing under control, "I-It's just... not often I get s-such a nice compliment." He said, trying to explain why he was blushing so much. Tatsuo knew he was kind of odd looking with his scales... so it was nice to get a compliment he felt was something more worthy of his dad.

"I would like for us to play. Please." He said, giving Bells a smile, hoping that they would be able to play.
