Entry #001 Date: 02/14/2006- This is Xenres' caretaker writing. I have started a journal for this handsome baby boy. I know he will need it some day, and I have decided that I shall write in the first few entries for him. I pray that one day he grows up and can do what I cannot: Leave the city and explore the world.
End journal entry. Signed, Caretaker #018Entry #002 Date: 02/19/2006- Xenres' caretaker writing. Xenres has entered the tower for the first time. It seems as if he doesn't know what all the decorating is for...
End journal entry. Signed, Caretaker #018Entry #003 Date: 03/06/2006- Xenres' caretaker again. Xenres is about to start his first class. ((The matron sighed as she wrote in the next part, then scribbled it out.)) Who wants to bet what that the teacher will find something other than shapes or colors, considering how the first class of the previous groups went? Hopefully, all will go well... for the teacher's sake...
End journal entry. Signed, Caretaker #018Entry #004 Date: 04/19/2006- Xenres' caretaker checking in. Xenres's homework is to paste several pieces of paper (cut into the shape of numbers) onto another piece of paper. The catch is that he has to paste the numbers in order. I wouldn't be surprised if Xenres asked for my help in this. He most likely wants to know what the teacher meant by "paste"... On another note, he is currently in an egg hunt. He has chosen 006 - and it seems 008 as well - to help him out.
End journal entry. Signed, Caretaker #018Entry #005 Date: 05/08/2006- Xenres' caretaker for the last time. Xenres has become a child and knows now how to read and write. I now turn his journal over to him and tell him it is up to him to write about his life, his secrets, his friends, family... whatever he wants to record in this unassuming journal.
End journal entry. Signed, Caretaker #018

Entry #006 Date: 05/08/2006- Hello. My matron is helping me write this right now, so my handwriting may look odd. However, my matron says I will get better with pratice, so I guess I will believe her. I also got new clothes! I was told that air elementals wore yellow clothes, and not blue, so I switched colors. Well, I guess that is it for now, so... until later!
Signed, Xenres

Numbers Game! Numbers Game! [Open][Multiple][Toddler][Non-Plot] Whee! With class let out for the day it's time to do your homework! Can you paste the numbers in order? Maybe you can even get one of the Matron's to help you write them.
Reward: ???
Side Quests Notes: Occasionally there will come some minor quests. Sign up, as most of them have plot implications. The brackets put the status on them. First bracket is the status for signing up, the second is the amount of people available, third is the age group, and last denotes if it is a plot event or not. If the event is not a plot event it is done in a journal and may result in changes to the child. From Nanedin The teacher sighed. "Allright, I guess it is close to time to go. I do have homework for you guys though." He got up and went to his desk digging around for a moment. He came back to the circle of toddlers with several stack stacks of cut paper. "I want each of you to paste these numbers on a piece of paper in order. Have fun and I'll see you next time." Xenres blinked at the abruptness that the teacher gave and nodded at the homework assignment. He reached his hands out to take the paper and glanced at all of them. He was suppose to paste these in order? He supposed he would have to ask his matron what "paste" meant, but he thought he could do this... Xenres toddled into his room, confused over the homework assignment. He placed the sheets of paper on his bed and went looking for his matron. He finally found her (in the last place he looked, of course) and tugged on her robes to get her attention. When he had it, he asked, "May I have some help with my homework?" His matron responded with a grin, "Sure." She followed him back to his room and eyed his homework. "Now just what do you need help with?" Xenres blushed. "I need to paste these," he held up the pieces of paper cut into numbers, "onto this," now he held up the large sheet of paper, "in order, but I don't know what the teacher meant by 'paste' so I need your help. Pwese?" His matron sighed at the sillyness of toddlers and replied, "Sure, let me get the glue." "Glue?" ws Xenres' only comment as the matron got up to go get "glue." She came back a moment later with an odd-looking bottle and set it nearby, out of Xenres' reach. "Well?" She asked him, "What are you waiting for? what order do you want them to be pasted in?" Xenres quickly shifted the paper around, ending up with the numbers scattered across the larger piece of paper. Some were higher, some lower, but at least they were in order. The matron brough forth the bottle and unscrewed the lid, bringing up a sticky brush attatched to the bottom of the lid via a length of sticky wood. She flipped one of the numbers over, brushed the back of the paper until it was covered with sticky stuff, then flipped the number back over and pressed it against the larger paper. Xenres watched, his eyes wide. "Me do?" He asked, wanting the touch the sticky stuff. The matron knew him better then that, however, but allowed him to do one on his own, guiding his hands with her own. Xenres squealed with glee and clapped his sticky hands together as the matron rather wisely finished gluing the rest to the larger, albit now sticky, piece of paper. She groaned at the site of sticky destruction, and carried a sputtering Xenres off to get a bath, promising herself that she would manage to clean up the mess before Xenres got to it... again, and also promised herself that she would remember not to mix Xenres with glue ever again.

Entry #007 Date: 06/19/2006- Hey again. Is my handwriting better? Should be, what with the amount of homework I'm doing. There's a lot to learn in class. It's a scary world outside the city walls, from what I've read from books. I hope none of my friends will get hurt or killed out there. Or me. Even being hurt is better then dying. I don't know what happens when you die, but I don't think it's good...
I've been hearing whispers about some ceremony or other that someone didn't succeed at. I wonder what that's all about. I'm also hearing mumbles about me and some others starting some new class that has to do with something called "fighting" or other. I wonder if I'll be any good at it...
Oh! And Flutter is doing good too. He tends to hover around me wherever I go and keep me company. Anyways, Matron's call, so I gotta go!
Signed, Xenres
