Jarel is seen walking backstage when he's stopped by Josh Matthews
Josh: Jarel, if I could just get a moment of your time?
The Dragon stops and narrows his eyes at the much smaller man, but stands over him. "Speak, before my patience wears out."
Josh gulps. "Well, I just wanted to get your take on your triumphant return to WWE:E."
Jarel glares at him for several seconds before responding. "Tonight was a good night. Despite the fact that my original opponent didn't show. Frankly, I could care less. I'm simply in the mood for a fight. And The Number Three provided exactly that. In the end, he, like so many before him, failed to defeat the Dragon."
Josh timidly brings the mic back in front of himself to ask his next question. "Well, Mr. Damone, sir, you don't seem to exactly be happy at the moment. Could that be the result of your loss in the tri rumble?"
Jarel had looked away, but now his head snapped back to Josh, who visibly shrinks back. "Rumbles, no matter what the stakes, are a crapshoot. I could really care less about the rumble. Frankly, I'm just not the nicest guy around, so the next question you ask me better be something better than the last one, or you're going to find out first hand just how little I like you."
Josh: Sorry. If I may ask, what are your plans here in WWE:E?
Jarel smirks, or something close to it. "Do you expect me to come out here like I've seen so many so called veterans do and demand title shots based off my name recognition? Do you expect me to stand here and rattle off all the titles I've won in other federations? Since you finally developed half a brain, I'll explain this to you calmly." He pauses before continuing. "Wherever I go, the Sickness always breaks out and infects those around me. It spreads straight to the mind, brings out obsessions and cowardice, jealousy and hate. This is something I do whether I intend to or not. You see, Josh, unlike the so called gods that run around the Gaia wrestling world, I have no ego. I feel no urge to brag. I have no need to break any particular record. I do that without thinking about it. When I began amassing my 41-0 hell in a cell streak, I didn't set out with the intention to shatter any and every hell in a cell record in history. What I did was step into the devil's playground with one of the innovators of the match in the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels, and I broke him. I discovered a love of the match, a feeling of being home. So when people pissed me off, I dragged them right into hell and administered the worst beatings of their careers. Before I knew it, I had amassed a streak so vast I had people challenging me specifically to it. Each of the men to step into the cell with me, I humbled. But, I didn't set out to become undefeated in this particular match. I had but one goal, and that was the destruction of all those that dare to test my patience. I'm not going to stand here and guarantee you I'll win this title or that title here. My path is a dark and mysterious one."
Josh: So are you saying you have no interest in championships?
Jarel barely refrains from slapping the man. "Could you be any dumber? Did I say those words? Did you hear me at any point say I have no interest in titles?"
Josh shakes his head frantically.
"Of course you didn't, you little pissant." Jarel watches the reaction of the much smaller man with amusement. "What I'm saying is simply this, Josh. In order for me to specifically be interested in a title in this federation, someone has to make it worth my while. Becoming a champion here for me is inevitable. The question of which championship I go for first, can only be answered through time." The Dragon actually smiles.
Josh: Does that mean....?
"Now, Josh, don't read too much into things. After all, if I follow your line of reasoning, it makes no sense. After all, he has nothing I want. Inevitably, at some point, our paths will cross, but first, I will watch as the Sickness runs rampant in WWE:E and rookies and veterans alike step up to take their shot at facing the Dragon. And I will enjoy inflicting as much pain and suffering on those poor warriors as possible as I end their quest for glory at my expense. Until such time as the twilight begins."
Jarel actually laughs as he walks off, leaving Josh and probably anyone watching slightly confused
