Does giving of your time/energy count as a tithe if you have no money? I think so, same with knowledge.

I would think so too, especially if you are poor. You offer was you can offer. Donating time is something few people do. You can throw so much money at something but if there's no people to do the work... well money alone isn't going to feed or house a person in need.

Used to be that people would pay their tithing in time or goods if they did not have money. Its not the monetary value that matters, but the spirit of sacrifice and selflessness of giving your funds or time or goods.
