I though I'd make a thread for this... As you all know, season 2 is coming up in less than a week. Are there any things you'd really like to see?
There are a few things I wanna see... For one, I want to see the ponies go to Zecora's homeland, like a cool savannah type place. Or maybe a monster from Zecora's homeland made it's way to Ponyville and Zecora helps them stop it. I also want to see Trixie come back and have her a** handed to her by Twilight. Yeah, she proved she was better by defeating the Ursa Minor, but Trixie didn't learn her lesson and I don't think she was humiliate enough. She was a b***h and I want Twilight to beat the crap out of her! rofl I also want to see some "sea ponies", preferably some that look like hippocampi and not real life seahorses. (hippocampi are much cooler, and they'd add to the "magical" feel of the MLP world) Lauren Faust has stated that she'd like to put in some hippocampi, so here's hoping! I also want the CMC to get their Cutie Marks. That would just be nice. heart

Less CMC. They were cute, but not for like 3 episodes worth.
Want to see more of the psychological dysfunctional Fluttershy flipping out when creatures don't show her love.

See I never understood derpy. Was she really meant to be like that? Was an accident? Or was it cleaver little inserts by the creators much the same way certain people put ineundos into Disney movies?

Mimetic Hybrid See I never understood derpy. Was she really meant to be like that? Was an accident? Or was it cleaver little inserts by the creators much the same way certain people put ineundos into Disney movies? It started out as an accident. While going over the first episode of MLP:FiM, Jayson Thiessen (supervising director) noticed an animation error in which one of the background pony's eyes were crossed. He found the expression amusing, and the episode already had the green light, so he didn't bother to have the animators fix it. Derpy then went 14 episodes without her eyes crossed. But around the time they were finishing up the 15th episode (feeling pinky keen) MLP:FiM was starting to gain some notoriety on the internet. He found, to his delight, that fans of the show really liked Derpy, and her unique expression, and from then on he requested that Derpy Hooves be animated with crossed eyes on all the episodes that had not yet been sent to the Hub, as a little nod to the bronies.

One thing I"m hoping like heck for is a single episode that features the adventures of a group of the background ponies.....both as a nod to the community, and to make sure the mane six are not mary sue-ing it up. Adventures happen to anyone, not just the mane six. smile
