Methos Profile Name: Methos Age: Unknown Sex: Male Species: Chimera Personality: Shy, Intelligent Hair: White/Light Blue Eyes: Black Height: Very, very, very unbelievably tall (use your imagination xD There's no doubt about it. He'll tower over you.) Methos as Described by Ende-his creator:Endejester Hes...very shy XD...to the point he is quite abashe when people fight.. though he is also enthusiastic about creating small 'dreamlets' ((they would in this case appear like...little snowglobes with sceens inside)) he is just to be a "Dream Eater" He's also painfuly tall and thin....sorta that warped dream perspective going...6'8 is the shortest ive RPEd him.

Eri Profile  Name: Eri Age: 18 Sex: Female Species: Kitsune/Cat-Demon Hybrid (Kit-Cat xD) Special Abilities: Manipulating energy to form forcefields(shields etc). She can also wield katanas-2 at the most. Though she honestly doesn't like to fight unless it's absolutely necissary. Personality: Friendly though sometimes shy Hair: About shoulder length, brown Eyes: Brown Height: 5' 7" Description: Your average teen with a love for music, and an obssession with the study of Dreams and Dream Therapy. This is what brought Eri and Methos together. They get along extremely well. Eri lives in a japanese-style house, just outside of a small village. This village is on the edge of a lush forest. The only people living with Eri as of now are Kaitou-the actual owner of the home, and Eri's pets. Kaitou is rarely home as he's either book-keeping at the library, attending school, or out practicing his martial arts.

Acquiring Methos Erina_Nobara Eri whistled a tune as she walked down the empty street. Oddly enough, something caught her attention out of the corner of her eye. A shop? She'd never noticed it before had she? But it seemed to be beckoning her inside. "Maybe if I just-" Without really thinking she found herself making her way toward the entrance. She gently leaned against the door, and as it swung open, bells jangled, signaling her arrival. "Um hello? Is anybody here?" She peered around. The place seemed to be a pet shop. Maybe it was a sign. After all, she had been thinking about getting a pet, something to keep her company throughout her work day at the shrine, and those long nights keeping her company as she did her favorite hobby; studying dreams and dream therapy. "That would be wonderful," she whispered aloud. Lady Vincira Many small pairs of eyes watched from shadows of the dimly-lit waiting room...glinting and glittering amidst the chirps and squawks that permeated the silence.
One pair of eyes, however, stood out in particular...a pair of glowing red ones, high enough up in the shadows to be a rather large animal - or perhaps a large bird, perched up high.
More disconcerting than any of this, however, was the slow, rattling sound...of someone laboriously breathing. And creepier still...as no people were around....
...It seemed to be coming from the creature with the big red eyes. Erina_Nobara Noticing she was being watched, Eri began to slowly kreep away in the direction opposite those scary red peepers. I-it sounds like...a...monsterrrr. >.< She quivered, glancing around hopefully for anything; a broom, a club, a chainsaw! Hey whatever worked, just in case. But she sighed, as there were no such objects in sight. Why would they be? After all, this was a pet shop. "Ummmm...." Unsure of what exactly she should do, and with no one around to help, she was at a loss. >> << >> ".............................Bring it on!" She waved her fists in the air, looking like quite the moron she was. Hey nobody said she was THAT bright. "Come and get me!" Lady Vincira Surprisingly, a hoarse laugh came from the creature...and out from the shadows stepped....
A man with intense blue eyes, a handsome face, and a red scarf wrapped around his neck. He pushed some of his brunette hair from his face, putting a hand to his throat when he spoke. Something wrong with his trachea?
"...I did-n't mean to scare you." He held up his free hand in a placating manner, rasping his words. "Wel-come to Count D's Pet Shop. May I help you?" Erina_Nobara "Uh-uh...err...." She stared blankly at the man for a moment, and did a double take. Was he really that thing in the shadows? She shook her head, and quickly regained her composure. "Eheh, that's alright. I just...well I was out for a walk when I came across the place. Something sort of drew me to it. I had been thinking about buying a pet recently and....I dunno, I was maybe hoping someone here could help." She smiled, offering the man her hand in greeting. "By the way, my name is Eri. Nice to meet you." Lady Vincira He blinked a few times, then shook the hand.
"Jack-son. Jack-son Ripp-ner." NICE name, hm?
Smiling lightly, he gestured to the couch. "I'm af-raid the Count is-n't well. I might be ab-le to help you." Erina_Nobara "Oh um that's too bad about the Count. But yes perhaps you can help, erm Jack. That is a nice name. Sounds....slightly familiar I think." She smiled, and took a seat on the couch, leaving a space next to her in case the man also wished to sit. Lady Vincira "It would." A slightly sarcastic demeanor crossed his words. "...Jack-son, please. There is a rea-son I don't go by Jack."
He sat down, pointing to the teaset. He was offering her tea, of course - speaking was a chore for him, so when he could pantomime things, he did. Erina_Nobara "Ah yes, I apologize. Jackson it is then. Well...heh I suppose I should start by telling you what I'm looking for then neh?" She chuckled, reaching for one of the teacups, and pouring herself a cup. "I was looking for something that's not too noisy, and that wouldn't mind my odd schedule. I have a tendy to take naps every once in awhile throughout the day and night instead of just sleeping the whole night through, and being up during the whole day. Heh, if that makes any sense. Also, I have a lot of space both indoors and outdoors at my home. And money's not a problem. Really my schedule was my main concern." Lady Vincira He sat back as she poured herself the tea, instead of allowing him to do it. Oh, well, to each their own. As he leaned forward to pick up a cookie from a tray, his suitjacket shifted further open, revealing the glint of...was that a knife tucked into his belt? A rather LARGE knife?
He leaned back again, munching on the cookie.
"...Some-thing that keeps odd hours...and qui-et. Any part-ic-u-lar pref-er-ence to per-son-al-it-y?"
He gave a couple of awkward gasps after all those long words, grimacing a little bit and readjusting his scarf. Erina_Nobara 0_0; "Something protective and loyal would be nice. Not violent though. Just protective....in a sense..." She felt like she was making little to no sense, and she felt horrible for making the poor guy talk. "So....do you think you can help me?" Lady Vincira Jackson thought for a long moment...then grinned.
"...I might know just the thing," he rasped. "...But the Count can't keep him dis-played out here."
He stood up gracefully, coughing a couple times.
"...Please come with me." He ambled casually towards the infamous curtain, realizing that one of the pets back there could finally have a home like he's been looking for. Best of all...he was all ready to go with her, if they liked each other. Erina_Nobara "Oh alright then." And so she obediently followed. Lady Vincira Jackson pushed aside the curtain, leading her through the labyrinthine hallways of the shop's back room. The scent of incense was thick in the air, and animals could be heard in the distance.
He led her along...and something with a spindly hand reached out from behind a curtain and grabbed her wrist. Erina_Nobara "Eeep!" She practically flew a foot up into the air, and latched onto Jackson's arm. "What was that?" She eyed the curtain suspicously. "I-it had hands....like a person...but..." Lady Vincira Jackson spun around as he was clung to, grabbing for his knife - a 12-inch Ka-bar...then relaxed.
"NOT fun-ny, Scare-crow."With a cackle and the rustling of straw, a very tall and thin creature slunk out into the hall, blank white eyes leering.
"...I thought it was. Did you see her jump? Priceless." He spoke with a heavy Southern drawl...and the stitching on his mask actually MOVED when he did so.Jackson wasn't amused.
"Ig-nore him. He's just a stu-pid spi-der." Erina_Nobara She growled at the creature that had just scared he half to death. "He's......a spider?" She stared at Scarecrow in disbelief. That THING, is a SPIDER?! "So what are you saying?.....It's one of the pets here?" She almost couldn't believe what she was asking. Sudden thoughts began racing through her mind. What if it was? What if she'd just talked herself into getting a pet as creepy as this so called 'spider'? She made sure to stay extra close to Jackson, just in case. Lady Vincira "Of course. Like me." WHAT? This man wasn't human?
...Well, come to think of it, that WOULD explain the glowing red eyes in the shadows. Sort of.
"Scare-crow, go aw-ay."Still sniggering, the tall, eerie creature obliged, moving back into the shadowed curtains from whence it came. Erina_Nobara Eri was not so sure she found this very reassuring, but she followed anyway. What the hell, I've got nothing to lose. And so she followed Jackson, whatever he was. With the red glowing eyes, she wasn't too interested in finding out. What with all that was going on, at least he seemed safer than Scarecrow. Lady Vincira Calmly, Jackson continued on, leading her through the hallways and occasionally flashing her a charming smile. No need for her to be so frightened - nor no need to give Scarecrow the satisfaction.
Presently, he stopped in front of a particular curtain, brushing it aside to reveal...a door behind it, elaborately carved upon.
"Here we are." Erina_Nobara Eri had finally begun to calm down some. Scarecrow was no longer in sight, therefore all was good, for now anyway. She glanced over her shoulder back at Jackson who gave her a reassuring grin. "Is it okay?" she asked, slowly reaching for the door handle. What a pretty design. Lady Vincira Jackson nodded in confirmation.
What she would see once the door was open was a dimly lit chamber...large and grand, with elaborate draperies and exotic fabrics everywhere. The scent of incense hangs thick in the air....
...And in the center of it all, a breathtaking figure sits atop an ornate pedestal. Erina_Nobara Eri gasped at the extravagant sight. Was THIS supposed to be the pet that Jackson was talking about. She stared in awe as the figure rose from his seat, and made his way across the room. He was EXTREMELY tall, with pale white and blue skin with matching hair, gold wings, and long black horns that stretched toward the ceiling. "What.....what is it?" Lady Vincira Jackson smiled.
"...Why don't you ask him?"
The satisfaction of a job well done was setting in - all was going according to plan, except for the little...interruption...by Scarecrow. Erina_Nobara Eri krept over slowly to the towering figure. She stared up at him, and noticed he was holding something in his hands. "Um h-hi......Who or what exactly....are you?" she questioned, tilting her head to the side.
"I'm a chimera, and a Dream Eater. And my name is Methos," he answered.
The girl's jaw dropped. And these guys are serious about this! "Well I'm Eri. It's nice to meet you." She bowed politely, half-expecting herself to faint. But miraculously she didn't, thank God.
"And, you were the one chosen to take me home?" Methos asked, raising an eyebrow in curiousity. "What is it you do?"
"Well, yes. I mean, I think so anyway. And, I study dreams....you said you were a 'Dream Eater'? That's so neat! I'm just fascinated by the world of dreams and the things are subconcious is trying to tell us!" she said excitedly. "This is so perfect!"
A smile spread across Methos' face. He was definitely pleased to hear this. "That's wonderful. I think you and I will get along just fine." <3
