AriyaLauna It wasn't often Nostalgia's habit to wander off alone, but her Chosen was busy with things that didn't involve her (the very idea!) and she'd grown bored, so off it was she went.
She wandered along a known road first, then off the road. Then, not unlike Little Red Riding Hood, had gotten distracted by this and that thing and wandered she didn't know where to. It hadn't yet occurred to her that she'd have to find a way back home.
The moment she saw another, it did occur to her that she would love to have some company. She'd make a quick job of that! "Hello, there! My name is Nostalgia, or Stalya for something more name-like. How are you this fine day?"
Because optimism and simply stepping out to greet was the best way to rid oneself of momentary loneliness!

Frosta is almost like a blue shadow, flitting among the trees at the leisurely pace exploring things since she is usually found near the mountains because she considers herself a mare of the mountains. The human looking female that is a Chosen to Frosta and few others isn't around for her to lounge around with so the mare decided to go for exploring to see what new areas she could find. Her soft blue eyes looks around at the trees that provided her a temporary shelter from the sun and beautiful view to look at.
The dark blue mare didn't hear another mare approaching her and she blinks in startled manner when another mare spoke to her, a pleasant smile spreads on her muzzle. "Hello! Nice to meet you Nosalgia or Stalya. I would think I will call you Stayla. But Nosalgia is a very beautiful and whimsical name for a beautiful mare like yourself." She greets another mare cheerfully as she steps out from the shade of the forest. "I am Frosta... you can call me... Frosta!" She says with a laugh, knowing it was a silly thing to do.
"How are you doing on this wonderful day, my dear?" Frosta says with a gentle smile as the wind teases her long white mane up little bit.

Nostalgia nickered, happy to hear the words that came from Frosta. She instantly liked her, the way she spoke and the way she moved. "Frosta. That name fits you very well, I don't think I will be forgetting it! I am doing well and am quite enjoying the weather, but am a little lonesome now that I've found myself alone!"
She looked around. She was a horse more of the city than the woods, and now that she considered it, she did remember that she didn't know what she was doing out this way. Just distracted.
"I don't believe I've seen you in the city. Are you... are you a horse of the wild?" The wild was a great, vast unknown thing to Nostalgia, and therefore immediately both very frightening and very romantic. Wouldn't it be fun to run into one from such an unknown place!

Frosta laughs lightly as she flicks her tail, looking at the mare that is standing in front of her. She have a wonderful first impression of Nostalgia, the mare seemed to be so friendly and outgoing so it would be really fun for Frosta to spend time with her. "Lonesome? No, no.. not anymore." She says with a smile as she does a little silly dance in the spot. "You have me and I can show you where you could find me if you do get lonely and need some company." She looks at the mare with a gentle smile that reaches up to her eyes.
Blinking twice, Frosta looks at the mare in mild confusion, not sure what the word 'city' is. She smiles at Nostalgia and chuckles little bit while taking a wild shot in the dark. "Do you mean the place where people live in?" She inquires. "If that's so, then no." She tosses her head and looks at another mare with a grin. "I live in the mountains. I love it there. I live in the valley between two mountains with my mate." She replies as she looks at her. "So you live in a city?" She smiles as the curiosity glitters in her eyes.

Nostalgia watched Frosta do her little place-dace. She didn't mimic her, but picked up a foot here, and foot there as she unconsciously tried to remember what she was doing.
"Yes, a city, where a lot of people live. Lots and lots and lots... Well, Melody says it's just a town and there are much bigger cities, and those without even a lot of animals. Imagine that, if you can! I most certainly can not. Which is just as well, as Melody says those places are miserable. You live in the mountains?"
She looked up in the direction of where the biggest mountain was from where her home was, not at all sure if that was the right direction anymore with all the wandering she had done. "They always seem so close, but they really are so far away. Are you a far way from home then, or have I traveled much further than I thought?" She looked around. "I don't...think...that I'm so awfully far away..."
Oh, what would Melody think! She'd met a wild mountain azzy!

Frosta couldn't help but to grin when she sees Nostalgia picked a foot here and there. She thinks the mare is so terribly adorable and she just wants to snuggle the mare up. But she refrained from doing that.
"I never heard of that. I always thought humans lived in a small villages around the place. Cities..." She mouthes the word thoughtfully as she smiles. "That is a very interesting concept right there. All of the people in one place." She says with a light laugh as she sighs lightly to herself. "Melody? is that your human?" She noticed that Nostalgia mentioned Melody few times already. "I think I have a human too but she doesn't smell like a human." A confusion flickers through her eyes before it disappeared. "Her name is Ismene. She seems to only come when the moon is out and disappear when the moon disappears too." She says thoughtfully.
"Oh! Yeah. I live in the mountains." Frosta turns her head toward the direction where the mountains are with a fond smile. "Oh..." Her smile fades little bit as she looks around, realizing that her new friend is a good distance away from the nearest city. "I can show you around so you won't be lost? this area is really beautiful place to explore." She brightens up as she beams at her. "What do you think? Do you want a day of exploring with me? I can even take you to my home and show you around." She suggests.

Nostalgia laughed. "Of course all the people live in one place like that! That is so they can live together and have friends and families and work together and get things done! What other way is there to live?"
Nostalgia's eyes glazed over a little bit as Frosta continued. A human that wasn't a human that only came out with the moon. She knew something about that.... a story that Melody ad told her once, but she couldn't remember what it was.... and that was very confusing! Wouldn't it be horrible not to be able to be with your Chosen just whenever you wanted to be? What if something happened and you needed them?
"Yes, Melody is my chosen, but I always know where she is, unless I can not find her. Does yours have a name? Don't you know where she lives so you can go to her?" What if she disappeared and never came back? But it wouldn't be polite to say those fears out loud, so Nostalgia remained silent beyond that one question.
Her eyes lit up when Frosta suggested that they should explore together. Would she want to know the land better? "Oh, yes! That sounds like a lot of fun! You can show me around here, and one day I can show you around the city. Then we'll both know more about where we live! What is your favorite sort of place? What do you do in the mountains/?" (Wasn't it just amazing that she met someone from a different place entirely!?!
