Ayperos was just a regular spirit in the rukongai, But before that he was just an outlaw in the world. He was sent to jail for life for being framed. This was because his sister was murdered when he just came. Living with the harsh memory he decided to commit suicide. He just wanted to see her face again. So when he was in the soul society he wanted to be more than a spirit he wanted to do his share keeping the soul society perfect. He wanted started new and forget his past living. He first caught sight on the horror of being left out since he had no experience being a warrior.
