You know how there are players out there who work hard and do exceptionally well, yet when they are awarded the ba'llon de oro they just somehow suck. who are players that are like that?

David Beckham would top my list. It says something when he was traded from Real Madrid to LA. As good as the Galaxy might be, the MLS is still a step down from the European leagues.

DaveyLee David Beckham would top my list. It says something when he was traded from Real Madrid to LA. As good as the Galaxy might be, the MLS is still a step down from the European leagues. Totally agree! yes one of my idols the thing is he lives of the fame he had. i hate it how he went to LA and said he would improve the MLS yet only played like 5 min seemed like he didnt want to play

Totally agree! yes one of my idols the thing is he lives of the fame he had. i hate it how he went to LA and said he would improve the MLS yet only played like 5 min seemed like he didnt want to play He was one of my idols too while he was with Man U and Real Madrid. My wife likes him even less. The rumors about his infidelity while in Spain has a lot to do with that. She is originally from Mexico, by the way. I saw the other day that the Galaxy was offering him a contract extension.

New York already has Henry. In a way, I feel kind of bad for Beckham. After all of that trouble over him playing for AC Milan during the MLS off-season for two years straight so that he could stay in shape for the 2010 World Cup, he tore apart his Achilles tendon a month or two before the World Cup.
