Bret Hart, the best wrestler to not be in the Hall of Fame, (and maybe ever), will be elected to the WWE Hall of Fame.
Bret "Hit Man" Hart will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The Hit Man will be inducted on April 1, 2006 in Chicago, IL.

Crybaby Hart gets to be in the Hall of Fame?!?! YEAH!!! Give him another title shot, and he'll be content!!!
Don't get me wrong, I don't DISLIKE Bret Hart, I do however, dislike the fact that he's a crybaby, and throws tantrums when he isn't at the top. I respect what he's done for the business, but he needs to stop his damn bitching, especially about the "Montreal Screwjob".

Bret Hart should go to the Wrestling Hall of Fame for that specific reason, he could WRESTLE...and personally, I'm happy for him, but on the other hand, I don't like how he never made a comeback and righted the wrongs against Vince (who REALLY screwed Bret, not Shawn in my opinion)...that's something that really pisses me off a little bit, but he's a great person, and a great wrestler in my opinion so to hear that he's been inducted in the hall of fame is music to my ears and alls I gotta say is
BOUT DAMN TIME!

He even said that if he was pysicly capable he would love to have another match with Shawn Micheals, and bears no ill will towards him. Please tell us about theese tantrums Bret throws. You ever watch Bret's DVD? On the brief part about the montreal screw job he explained what happened from his perspective and the closest thing he did was throw a tantrum is he said that he hasn't forgiven vince for what he did. Honestly, who can blame him?

Especially since wikipedia has been known to be in accurate in some of thier facts. Also it was originally Vince's idea that Bret retains the title and hands it up the next monday in a good bye ceremony. However Micheals at the time had enough backstage muscle to get his way in the WWE at the time. Hart was going to slack his way though a one year contract with WCW and return to the WWE. Vince even okayed the plan. Vince's paranoia got the best of him in the end. Sure alot of people were screwed by vince, but unlike Bret they were willing to sacrifice thier dignity for a little pay off.

Granted, Wikipedia can be inaccurate, but all the information I've ever seen on the incident (including Wikipedia) says that Bret was willing to drop the title, Vince wanted him to drop it to Shawn, and Bret wouldn't do it. So Vince did what was good for business, he gave the title to his top performer in the way of popularity at the time. Shawn deeply regrets what he did, and Shawn and Bret are finally starting to bury the hatchet. I don't think Shawn and Bret will EVER be friends, but at least Bret is (somewhat) willing to forgive Shawn. I really think it's a damn shame that two great performers such as those two had to end on such a bad note. Ultimately, it could've been stopped on the part of Vince, Shawn, and Bret. They all had a hand in what went down, and I personally think it's bullshit that Shawn takes 80% of the flak for it.
