Me and two of my friends just racked up 6 hours at G.A.I.N. which is the island's animal shelter.
we have to do 20 hours of community service per quarter for American Government.
and we mainly worked with the cats and cleaning and helping other people that came in. we would have worked with the dogs in the kennels but it was raining hard and some other volunteers kinda worked on them.
the kittens are too kyuuute 4laugh there were these two ginormous cats though in the office and one of them scratched my finger good. i was just petting it, and then BAM! scratched me. stupid cat stare
we're hoping to do a beach cleanup next weekend to get another 2-3 hours out.
Discuss: have you ever done community service?

That is something you really can't miss. His whiskers are forwards, which means he's in a bad mood. (but I think this depends on every cat. Suki does that too, but during playing and when she wants attention). And with some cats their body/back moves down if you want to pet them. And with dogs cats like to sniff your hand first. If he walks away he doesn't find you interesting. cool
