She heard the bat squaking and flapping around in her cage as she was writing. She said, "Calm down, calm down, I'm opening it." Koscha put the notebook and pencil on her lap for a moment and reached over, opening the bird cage door and keeping it wide open for her. She picked them back up after she opened the cage door and wwent back to writing.

Koscha didn't really mind that the bat climbed off of her shoulder and off the chair. The house wasn't really that big, so there wasn't much to explore, for a human of course. A little more than 1200 square feet of room there.

(Sorry, was caught up between homework and writing my book!)

She heard the squeak and the bathroom water running. The first thought that came to mind was that her kidnapper had come to America for her and just found where's she's been hiding out. She opened her nightstand drawer and found her pocket knife, closed like how she kept it. Koscha clicked it open with a firm grip on it, then walked out towards the bathroom. She stood against the wall next to the open door, breathing silent breaths, thinking that she was about to meet her fate, her end, her last moments. She slowly stepped in front of the doorway, her hand and pocket knife behind her back. But she didn't see him. It was a huge relief, because she saw the bat inthe sink. She smiled and giggled, clicking the knife to put it away, then put it down on the ground. "If you want to play with water, then maybe you should play in the bath tub next time," Koscha said, reaching her hand down into the water and plugged up the sink so that way they wouldn't be wasting water. She let the water continue to run until the sink was almost completely full. She stopped the faucet then went out into the hallway's second closet and grabbed a bathroom towel from there. She walked back in and sat down on the closed toilet seat lid with the towel in her hand when she was done playing in the water.

(I really apologize again, my English teacher just seems to always have to give us so much homework! Was working on it all day Saturday! gonk )

Koscha smiled as the little bat climbed over to her from the sink. Once it was on the towel, she gently started to towel-dry it off, being extra careful with her wings.

She started to stroke the bat's back to try to press her fur back down to her body regularly. "Well, I think I should name you, since ou're in the family after all," Koscha said as she stroked the bat.
