Darius nodded before turning to the food in front of him. He picked up his knife and fork and cut off a piece of the chicken. It was delicious. He took another bite of it before trying some of the vegetables. "My compliments to the chef," Darius said after making sure he did not have food in his mouth. "I think he may put mine to shame." He chuckled as he silently compared this dish to food he ate back home.

"However, before all that could happen we had to deal with months worth of suitors. It was stressful for me to deal with all of them, but I can't even imagine what it must have been like for her or even you."
