Hey everyone, cant believe its September already! Summer really flew by, I hope you all had a good one. Special shout out to Bobsjoy for being the only one to make a summer comic!
For some of you, school is just around the corner, for others of you it's already started. Whether that makes you sad or happy, this month's goal is to work on the more somber emotions. Comics are fun, they should make you laugh, but that's not all they can make you do. Let's make a serious comic for once, it doesnt have to be depressing or make people cry, but try and have it provoke some deeper thoughts. It can be about school, or anything at all.
The winning comic should be thought provoking and serious, without becoming forced, contrived, or cliche. You can use words or not, but try and make it some sort of narrative, rather than just abstract ideas.
This is solely for your benefit of practice, though there will be a prize for the winner. I'm offering a lovely Tombstone (currently worth 65,000g in the marketplace) to the winner.
If you feel this project needs more time let me know at any time and we can make accommodations.
If you need help or have a question, you can post here or in the comic workshop thread. If you post there, or here, send me a pm, that way i can help you as soon as i can, and other people can benefit from your question.

Last day of September is the technical deadline, but if you have started working on something you think will be great but find yourself running out of time, feel free to PM me and i'll give you an extension. >wO
but if you pm me after the last day of september it wont count

I have my entry!!I was thinking about this contest last night whilst drifting off to sleep and an idea came to me like a bolt from the blue. X3 It's a little bit abstract because I have a thing for comics which mess with your mind a bit and blur the line between abstract and realistic. But it's not too out-there. xD I was keen to write something for this contest because I'm really big on summer. I love the freedom of the summer holidays, sunshine (most of the time!) and having time and space to yourself. I like doing new things over the summer, even if it's just hanging out on a new site online or playing a new game. And I always felt very somber about the return to school in September x3 So I wanted to make a comic which encapsulated that somehow.
