Thank you for clicking on my thread! I'm writerGRRL and I'm searching for someone who will embark on the adventure of doing a one on one roleplay! Before I jump the gun and list things like what I'm willing to roleplay and what I'm not willing to roleplay and even the things that I'm craving to roleplay, I will first give you a few facts about me and then I'll give you a few rules that you need to remember.

Here's a little about me: First of all, yes, I am female. I am over the age of eigh teen, the legal age of an adult in the USA. I will not tell you exactly how old I am. I would just like you to know that I am not a child. You may call me just about any variation of my username or you may call me Sunny or any variation of that.
Since I am an adult (of sorts), I do have a job. I work five days out of seven and I work eight hours a day. That means I work around forty hours a week. My days off are ever changing so the days that I'm on from dawn until dusk are sporadic and I apologize but there is just nothing I can do about that. I have bills to pay.
I have been roleplaying for a good six years but I will not claim to be the 'best roleplayer EVAR!' because I know I need improvement. I hope you will be understanding if I make mistakes. Hopefully, though, I won't make too many mistakes.

Here are some ground rules: 1] Please follow the guild rules. There's really no reason for you not to. And if you plan on not following them, then what are you really doing in the guild? (No offense. It just doesn't make sense to me. If you join a guild, abide by the rules.)
2] Please refrain from badgering me about posting/replying, etc. I work. I have a life. I need to make sure the responsibilities in my actual life are taken care of before I even think of my internet life. Please be understanding that it may take a while for me to respond if I'm not online.
3] Please no Mary-Sues. I don't like perfect characters. I find them boring and hard to respond to. And if you say your character has a certain personality, please stick to that. If you say they're quiet, they shouldn't be talking a mile a minute.
4] I don't like to use the terms 'literate' or 'advanced lit' because I feel like it really only refers to quantity and not quality. I will take two or even one quality paragraph over five, ridiculously long, unnecessary paragraphs any day. I'm just looking for something to relieve stress at the end of every day. I don't want to make role playing a chore.
5] Please don't expect me to pretty up posts. It's another thing I find to be more of a chore than something fun. If you want to do it, that's fine. But don't expect me to.
6] I am willing to play both male and female roles. I expect you to do the same. But if this means I have to make a male character so we can roleplay the same roleplay but with you as the female (or if it the other way around), I won't do it. I have no problem having fun playing my characters regardless of gender and I would like someone who is the same.

What I wil NOT do: 1] Twilight. Not even just the universe. Don't mention it to me. 2] Fandoms. I prefer original roleplays. However, there is a way around this which will be explained later. 3] Real life fandoms. Just no. I'm not comfortable roleplaying as someone who actually exists. It's just weird to me. 4] Master/Slave. I've tried it. I didn't like it. 5] Completely romance-based roleplays. I want a little more in my roleplays than just romance. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with romance. I just don't want to have every roleplay I have to be based on the idea of a certain pair getting together.
Now that that's out of the way, here is what I WILL roleplay: 1] Original Fantasy: Medevial/Modern 2] Universes of Fandoms: Meaning, I will roleplay Harry Potter if it doesn't include any cannon characters. It can even follow along the storyline if it's set away from main characters. I'm not referring to the HP universe only. It was just an example. 3] Post-Apocalyptic/Distopia 4] High School/College 5] Real Life (after all school) 6] Bands (only if we are making up people. Not if we're using actual band members.) 7] Song-Based plots 8] Vampires/Werewolves. (You'll have to convince me with this one. There are just too many out there for me to want to roleplay this right now. 9] Seven Deadly Sins Incarnate.
If it's not listed, ask me about it. I'm not currently craving anything but a roleplay. It can be up to you. I just want to roleplay.

Plots/Plot Bunnies:
Song-Based This Could Be Anywhere in the World by Alexisonfire
We are the dead ones, we are the lost cause We are the bend before the break. Our steps seal our fate.
Because this city, this city is haunted By ghosts from broken homes Because this city, this city is haunted And there's no hope left for these souls
Imagine a city encased in the suffocating fog of thousands of factories. Imagine a city so massive, you could go for days and never find the edge. This is a city where day and night have become one. And the souls trapped within this city are haunted by one thing or another. Maybe they're haunted by their childhood or their broken home. Maybe they are haunted by all the people they've killed or seen kill. In a city so massive, in a city that never sees the true light of day, it's hard for authorities to keep crime in check and it's even harder for anyone at all to keep their sanity. The lights are always on because the sun is never seen and it has driven people mad.
Genre: City/Alternate Universe/Life Setting: The City - a massive city that seemingly has no end Plot: Are you searching for the ends of the city or are you a lost soul haunting the city?

I hope it's okay that I'm posting here, I was not sure if you wanted thread activity or a PM.
I agree with everything that you have said! I too am willing to play male or female characters and I like romance as a facet of a story, not the whole purpose. It is more fun to just have your characters being true to themselves and along the way you find out that the two of them like each other!
I am not craving anything in particular, I just want to make a story that is soooo good that we should make a movie out of it!
Also I understand the 'real life' side of things, next week I'll be returning to college. As long as there is a little progress to keep me entertained.

It's fine that you posted here. I didn't specify how I wanted to be contacted because it was fine if anyone replied to the thread or PMed me.
I'm actually trying to get an apartment asap and I've been getting called in early to work for the past week. Some of the workers at my job aren't really showing up to their shifts.
Anyway,
I'm not craving anything too particular. I would like to roleplay something fantasy-based. Maybe a modern fantasy, preferably without vampires and werewolves. I seen too many and I've roleplayed too many and I need a break from that type of roleplay. Are you up for plotting or is there some other genre you would prefer.
I honestly am just desperate for a good roleplay.
